Because it's been a LOOOng time since I updated, here's an ortho of a worker for a mod I'm working on:

Funny, I was going to do more than ever drawing-wise this break and instead I've been learning modelling and doing texturing. Going to draw more now though, since the mod needs concepts.

Denysiuk: Thanks man, the industrial look is what I generally aim for. Gets me excited for some reason, probbaly because it looks more likely to actually exist.

Hopefully I'll be getting some more stuff up with that kind of feel.

Evil: Yeah, that's a sort of cool one, but I don't think I'll finish it. The concept changed as I was messing around with Silo and it's fairly different now. Just that it's all in my head. I'm going to have to draw it out sometime.

Lesseeeeee... Talked big in my blog, but ended up spending the vacation doing mod work, learning to model better, and wrestling with the d3 editor. I'm a fucktard.

Here's some stuff:

Earthquake from Polycount is modelling my crotch midget swordsman and he asked for head orthos, so I obliged.

He'll probably ignore them though.

Finished guy from above. Not much has changed.

A weapon for the mod I'm working on. Maybe technically not supposed to show it, but I can't see how it could possibly hurt.

I'm proud of the SMG. First high poly model I've done and it came out pretty hot. The geometry on it is a mess in places though, so I need to work that out in the future.

Recursive: Yup, same mod

I added a stupid looking buttstock and re-rendered the SMG, and it came out pretty sweet. Dicking around with material and lighting settings can have some surprising effects.

And I also snagged a freelance job for an indie game. Luckily the guy who's paying for everything is cool and said it's alright to show this off wherever I want. So... pimp pimp hurray!

-AWESOME. I like all this machines. They're looks like real. Actually most of my farourite movie is a "T-1;-2;-3" . Especially T-2 / Judgement day/ it is so incredible movie all the time.I believe you will be agree it.

The portraits and the birds are looking great. Did you use a ref for the birds?
About the first portrait, in pencil, i think the left eye is a bit off.... but i guess you already noticed it :=)
