    Welcome to my art dump.

    Hello all,

I'm new here on this ol' site. Thought I'd play along and show some stuff. These are some new things I've drawn up in the past month in my sketchbook. Some gestures, life drawing, animal studies and random cartoony things. You'll see the start of my Christmas card in there. There's also a page where I'm playing around with a new character I'll be using for a story. I'll be updating soon when I get my hands on my other sketchbooks.

    So yes, without further adieu...

    Hello and welcome and whatnot!

Just saw this sketchbook pop up ;P

Some nice linework going on. Convincing life studies. There's a lot of character in those animals and faces. Not so sure about the hands in those christmas card, but perhaps thats what you were going for. Keep at it! Hoping to see more from you in the future!

    Hey Kiminator

This is a pretty cool sketchbook you have here, lots of life and personality in your drawings especially the animal ones, and nice facial expressions on your western "Tex" looking guy. Sorry there's nothing I can offer as far as an actual critique goes for now, but definitely keep up the good work, you're off to a great start.

Excellent! Love your style - that's what hooked me in the first sketch, but the alligators clinched it.

Although, looking closer, the knee of the top one seems to be in reverse!
    ...which is only my opinion.

    Many thanks!

Thank you all for your kind comments! Sorry it took me a bit to get back here...I have a pretty busy schedule and I get sidetracked easily!

    Anywho:

Anthis: Thanks for commenting...and yeah, the Christmas card is a work in progress. My fella's hand is kinda stiff and odd. He actually needs to be redrawn...or stretched out in photoshop because he's a bit taller than that. I've got a week or two before it needs to be done.

Sofa King: Again, thanks for the compliments, I'll be posting more!

Vermis: Hey! Thanks for pointing that out. I think I got so caught up in drawing the alligator's head that I forgot to study the other appendages! I'll be fixin that up for sure!

So...thanks for commenting! Here are some treats!

    What I had for 3CH-52

Sadly, I missed the deadline...so I'm going to post what I had finished. The topic was something to the order of An android probe meets a creature in an air environment or something. My idea was to have a little probe following a path and he came along to a little burrow where a little mole like creature made it's home. Use of glowing mushrooms for a light source. It turned out pretty cute, I think. *shrug* if anyone has any comments or critique please be my guest!

I simply love your lineworks, but i believe you should make your coloring looks 'less digital', now it is looking too smooth, without contrast, try some custom brushes, pure more light/shadows and it will look fantastic!

    keep it up!

    A two day painting session

I'm not entirely done with this, but currently there is no time to go further with it. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up again. This is Matthew, my fella. I've been wanting to paint him for some time. So finally two nights ago I sat down and painted him.
