lovely work! your digital work seems to be much stronger than your traditional work, maybe post some more sketchbook pages ?

But really your paintings are beautiful - the lighting and colours are great!

    @anivy : Hehe, thankies!
I think the reason that I haven't worked with faces that much before
is because i was soooo horribly bad at it. Now I think i'm getting the hang of it,
and i'll post some of my traditional sketchbook studies!

    Exclamation Slacker

I haven't been able to paint for ages. My mind has been blocked somehow, by something.
I've been thinking about what that could be, and I have some theories. I've been thinking
alot about my future, "how good I'll be, what I'm going to paint" and so on.
It's a rather intriguing thought that has caused my problem. I have been thinking so much
about the future, that I have forgotten where I stand today, and what I have to do in order
    to achieve my goal.

HOWEVER. I managed to do something , and hopefully my mind finds it's owner once again.
The owner sincerely misses it. So here's a quick WIP.

    Smile Moar

Started to take a real REAL interest in the nose, so here's some studies.
I'm sorry if the order and such is messy as ****. Did some bridgeman
as well as some real life and also from photo's.

    Smile Some updates

Okay, so the end of 2012 has come and 2013 has just begun.
2012 was in general a good year, though with some ups and downs.
I had this mind block for about 2 months and I could neither paint or draw -
probably the most frustrating time of my life. Anyway --

Like I said, 2013 has just begun, and I've got a whooooole year in front of me to spend on my art.

Here's a short update - Something traditional and something digital. I need to work on my perspective rrreeeaalllyyyy bad

Gief crits if you've got any. I know already that the hand is pretty messed up.

    Pete Hidalgo - Thanks mate!

Jorge Gecov - Thank you, I'm trying to study more, and I need a REAAAAAL kick in my ass so I'll start study anatomy and proportions. Thinking about tackling some perspective.

    Here's some more !

remember to USE the constrution lines you copy and actually build the features i see you study them but when it comes down to a piece i see not as much construction as could be, yo are very good with soft edges and have nice contrast but lack the value range to make the paintings read, start doing drawings with 3 values then pump it up to 5 and then to 7 so on so forth until you find a number that you like and helps you flesh out those forms and make them look really 3d and in space keep it up man you are doing great!

    Hey, really nice sketchbook!

I would suggest to work more on your anatomy and go more for quantity on your sketches. I'm getting the feeling that you're putting yourself under perfection-pressure a little. But maybe it just comes around that way because your stuff rocks
Keep up the dedication and give Bridgman, etc. a try
