Peter, im really loving your stuff. Awesome character group pieces and concepts.

May I ask what kind of story you are making? Im seeing alot of the crosses so im wondering it its a medieval or fantasy medieval kind of story and if there is any religious theme going on? Seeing your work brings to mind my own story im developing.

Thank you very much! I'm happy you are.

I'm working on a fantasy and a sci-fi story. Indeed, a fantasy medieval setting with lots of religious influences. I see.

A little update on the Terminator:

absolutely love the scenes you have on the first page, you Have a great sense of perspective. You have a nice eye for design as well, I would not be surprised if you are going to become very big!
Please, excuse me for the possible errors in my English.

So I was browsing some of my "older" works and decided to repaint one a little (2012 jan 28)...

First is how she looked like almost 4 months ago, second is how she looks like now...(not finished yet)

So I learned a new painting technique today at school, painted something during class...and decided to add a few more stuff.

Spaceships! Nothing serious...an hour and a half perhaps.

    Thanks for the advice!

The recent speedpaintings I did were all school assignments which were limited to an hour of painting. Maybe I will work more on a few of them laters. They're kind of fun to do!

Despite all the sketchiness, your work is still pretty good!

Well 5 months in I think its fair to say you are far from faoiling,

You imagination is awesome such a cinematic feel to a lot of your compositions. nice to see scenes with a sense of movement action and more then one character. Cant give much of a crit since I am miles behind you but I think when your technical skills get up to speed (and they will if you keep working) with your creative brain your going to produce some stunning work.

You have a eye for everything environments, sci fi, fantasy, characters and mechs,

Really love the second pic with the knight sitting on the horse feel like i am watching a movie. All I would say is when drawing imaginative stuff spot what your weak at and go and ref and study it. For example the horse in the pic I mentioned is a bit off espc the legs. But one thing I am slowly learning is even if the pics are not great now, if you get the ideas down as they come to you when you improve you can always go back and redo them and produce some killer paintings.

Cinematic feel, really? No one said that before...

Yeah, studying images and painting them is a pretty cool exercise. Ah, I see. I'll try to fix that in the future.

And here's another little update on that hangar from before.
Had to do some rendering and fixing shadows/light sources.

Sure you style is very sketchy at the moment and I am sure not as polished as you would like, but the cinematic refers to your compositions and the underlying narrative in your pictures. I think once you get a polished style with good lighting (key for mood and atmosphere from my point of view) you might even suprise yourself.

I was browsing in the last pages of my SB searching for the ones I forgot to visit... I'm sorry I'm this late.
    I agree with ja1307
I like your enviros a lot but I'm not good with words at the moment. They are impressive even being more or less sketchy. The figures obviously need more anatomy knowledge, it's not quick for anyone (your figures often seem kinda neckless, even considering they are wearing armor I guess)... But you are going into the right direction, I expect cool stuff from you in the future.
