Hey y'all. This is my first post here, although I've lurked for what must be 5-6 years.
I'm an aspiring concept artist/illustrator/designer looking to find his place in this ridiculous industry. I feel so humbled looking around here, and I can only hope to eventually be able to throw down with the best of them.
It's been a whirlwind year. Between finishing school, working a shitty job, getting let go from said job, and having to figure out just where my artistic passions lie, 2011 sure did a number on me.
It's funny how unemployment can really motivate you to improve your artwork. In the past 3 months I've made more stuff than I probably made in all of 2011. And I couldn't be happier.
