    fantastic environments. I'd say keep working on figure drawings and drawing in general, maybe some creature designs would be interesting (some great critters in your enviros). Do you do much drawing and painting in traditional media? really great stuff overall, it's very enjoyable to look at

    @alfonsoesposito: ma sei bello tu!
    @black-swan: thanks! yes I will keep drawing and working on figure! No, I rarely draw and I've never painted tradionally. Thanks again, I'm glad you like it!
    @NyeAlexandaFrayne: thank you!
    @Giorge: thank you!
    @Creusa: no, nulla.. adesso sto mettendo qualche soldo da parte, vorrei farmi un'esperienza all'estero, un 3 mesi in qualche studio di concept come stagista sarebbe il top. ho preferito prendermi un anno di pausa dagli obblighi (scuole, perciò) per capire meglio cosa voglio.. si vedrà! tu che progetti hai?
    sai se a roma si organizza qualcosa di interessante tipo sketchcrawl (credo si chiamino così) o manifestazioni varie in cui imparare qualcosa di nuovo?

    Something I had to interrupt and din't finish because it just wasn't worth it

    sto all'ultimo anno della scuola fumettara, finisco quella e comincio a lavorare fulltime (sempre freelance).
    su FB c'è un gruppo che si chiama appunto Sketchcrawl Roma, a parte questo non ne ho idea. come m'hanno detto, in Italia nessuno cerca nessuno e anche se trovi qualcuno non ti farà mai imparare trucchi piu efficaci XD

    hola compatriota, nice enviroment sketches, i like how you manage to use such vibrant colors.
    Do you ever do anything else beside enviroments? it would be nice to see some variety

    btw i hate the tv spot you've worked on ;_; can't stand the voice of the mouse dude, everytime i hear it i have to change channel immediately, but the background looks nice.

    @Colour Coded: hey man, thank you very much!

    @Creusa: quanto darei per riuscire a sviluppare una passione minima per i fumetti.. ero anche andato a fare un colloquio con la internazionale di comics, ma sia io che il docente che aveva visionato il portfolio eravamo convinti che là dentro non c'entravo nulla, sono esageratamente riluttante verso il fumetto. spero che un giorno riuscirò ad apprezzarli.

    a proposito di facebook, c'è un gruppo con un bel po' di concept artist italiani davvero molto bravi e disponibili, non so se ne fai già parte oppure no, si chiama facebook concept day - in caso potesse interessarti aggiungimi su fb (Marco Casalvieri) e poi ti aggiungo al gruppo, che, a meno che non abbiano invertito tendenza, era invisibile e l'unico modo per entrarne a far parte era mediante l'invito di qualcuno che era già dentro

    @DaevidK: thanks man, I'm glad you like them!

    @G@m: hola! grazie mille! ogni tanto disegno qualche posa e ho provato con un paio di characters, ma ho veramente poca dimestichezza.. dovrei studiare di più, ma ultimamente per problemi personali ho pochissima voglia e quindi quando mi trovo al pc preferisco rilassarmi un po' e fare un enviro per non perdere la mano..

    non sai quanto li odio io quei topi! per una questione di contratto-di-non-divulgazione-che-mi-hanno-inviato-troppo-tardi ho saputo per cosa stavo creando i concept solo quando ne avevo creati già 4-5, e ormai...

    ok maybe this won't fit the eow, so it's just going to be a personal piece
    wip around 70% now, hope you're liking it so far

    if you see a lot of unfinished things it's just because I like to jump from a part of the piece to another

    с'era pure il corso d'illustrazione sai, ma gia stai in avanti senza dubbio.
    sinceramente neanche a me piacciono. in quasi 3 anni ho sentito parlare di centinaia ne ho visti una mille e ne apprezzai uno solo (kaboom). ma non è solo quello il beneficio del corso in realtà. Il profitto è che ti avrebbero lvluppato il senso di composizione, dinamica e la semplificazione dei colori cosi che uno legga la cosa piu facilmente. Non credo che riuscirei a raggiungere un certo livello senza che mi aiutino. Ma a parte quello e le chiacchiere non c'è nulla da imparare, si.

    attento alla figurina. ha tratti troppo piccoli e non s'inquadra nell'insieme.

    i like some parts of your last landscape, but it feels really flat imo, i think its the combination of vertical composition ,the high amount of contrast / saturation in the areas further away from the viewer and the excessive sharpening that kill this picture :o i also can't understand where the dragon is supposed to be, above the structure? between the structure and the standing figure? can't really tell

    @Creusa: no ma hai sicuramente ragione, infatti tenterò di iniziare a studiare da qualche parte l'anno prossimo se avrò ancora voglia d'avere a che fare con l'arte.. ho ingradito pure la figurina, grazie mille!
    @G@m: thanks a lot for the critique, I tried to fix everything you mentioned!
