Pre-paying: What if you don't finish?

Handing over $30,000 for pre-paid tuition is a big move - I can't find any information on the policy for partial refunds if a student can't complete the 30 month program, either for personal emergencies or dissatisfaction with the career path. If a student can not complete a degree for personal reasons, is part of the tuition credited back to the student for classes not taken? This is really my only reservation in regards to the TAD organization structure as opposed to a regular university. Any information is appreciated!

Hi Sarahanne. Browsing through the internet to try and find out more about the school I came across this:

    FULL TIME PRoGRAM
Payment Option 1: Student pays one up front tuition amount of $30,000 USD, (or other lesser agreed amount for early signup
discounts). Students who paid their entire tuition in full will receive a refund for all semesters that haven’t yet started based
on the posted academic calendar and less the cost of the workshop period that might have begun, if applies (see explanation
in first paragraph). There are five semesters for the entire program and refunds are issued in 1/5th increments. Example: if a
student paid in advance and withdrew before the first day of class in the 1st semester, that student would be refunded 4/5ths of the
total tuition paid, given that the student did pay in full for all 5 semesters in advance and hadn’t withdrawn on, or before a workshop
    period.t
Payment Option 2: Student pays three payments of $11,000 in the first 15 months (months 1, 7 and 15) = $33,000 USD, (or
other lesser agreed amount for early signup discounts). Students who pay their first payment will receive a refund for the 1st
semester if the 1st semester has not started and will have the cost of the workshop deducted, if the workshop has begun. If
the student wishes to withdraw during a semester that has not ended, they will be obligated to pay for the remainder of the
semester they withdrawn in, but may discontinue studies thereafter. The amount refunded once the 1st semester has begun is
$4,400. The amount refunded once the 2nd semester has begun, and after the 7th month payment is made is $8,800. If the 7th
payment hasn’t been made and student withdraws during the 2nd semester, the student then owes $2,200. The above refund
and payment due scenarios applies for the subsequent semesters, where students receive a refund, or owe a balance, depending on how many payments have been received, and how many semesters have started before a withdraw request is made.
Payment Option 3: Student pays four payments of $9,125 in the first 24 months (months 1, 8, 16 and 24) = $36,500 USD, (or
other lesser agreed amount for early signup discounts). Student who pays their first payment will receive a refund for that semester if that semester has not started. If the student wishes to withdraw during a semester they will be obligated to pay for
the remainder of the semester, but may discontinue studies thereafter. The refund and payment due scenarios listed for Payment Option 2 applies for all possibly cases in Payment Option 3, where students receive a refund, or owe a balance, depending on how many payments have been received, and how many semesters have started before a withdraw request is made.
Payment Option 4: Student pays 30 payments of $1,300 each month = $39,000 USD. Students who pay their first payment will
receive a refund for that semester if that semester has not started. If the student wishes to withdraw during a semester they
will be obligated to pay for the remainder of the semester, but may discontinue studies thereafter. No refund will be given
with this payment option unless student drop before a semester, and or, workshop begins. Students will be required to pay for
the rest of the monthly payments not received, if they withdraw during a semester with is not paid for in full.
Payment Option 5: Student will make one up-front payment of $6,000, followed by 70 consecutive monthly payments of $500
= $41,000 USD. Students who pay their first payment will receive a refund for that semester if that semester has not started.
If the student wishes to withdraw during a semester they will be obligated to pay for the remainder of the semester, but may
    discontinue studies thereafter
Payment Option 6: Student will pay 90 consecutive monthly payments of $500 = $45,000 USD. Students who pay their first
payment will receive a refund for that semester if that semester has not started. If the student wishes to withdraw during a
semester they will be obligated to pay for the remainder of the semester, but may discontinue studies thereafter. The student
will be responsible for a remaining balance of $6,000 at the end of the first semester if they withdrawal during that term, and
pay for any other semesters they remain enrolled in, during the semester’s academic calendar period. Each semester takes 18
months to pay off, and by the time the entire 30 month program has ended, the student would have paid 30 months, and will
have an additional 60 months of payments to complete.

I am however, not sure if this is uptodate. I have been told to send a message to [email protected] and ask out for further info. So drop them a line
