@f1x: thank you! and yeah of course it could be worse....it always can be worse... but i im happy with that level of creepy... i mean i still want people to look at it
little bit more work on that one and a quick photo study
ahh the image of the guy with the tongue about to be cut-off.
The way you handled the values and the edges is really good, makes it really feel alive, the pale color of the skin and how it melts into the background help give that scary look.
Looking good, the last couple paintings are very interesting. Keep up the hard work.
art is never finished, only abandoned~Leonardo da Vinci
@Voodoo_Mama:thank you! i try to keep attention to my values and edges more at the moment. so its nice that it shows
@ezekrialase: thank you alot!
well... still going creepy. but this bed time sketch turned out to be the most uncreative thing i probably ever painted....i mean a creepy clown...thats the bottom of creativity. but atleast it really can't get worse :/
sry for bad and little stuff....but i have no time atm :/
small sketch. tablet didn't work so i just had some fun smudging around...
Interesting sketchbook. I like the movement of a lot of these, as well as the colors.
Really great studies you have here. I dig your style!
I really love the look of your brush and pen strokes. You have a very precise and sharp style that I hope to develop in my own line work. I like that I can see your hand movements in both your drawings and your paintings.
Which did you learn first? Painting or drawing? Or did you learn them together?
Keep up the great work!
I'm liking these studies a lot man, keep at it!
the one with the tongue... makes me shudder imagining the pain and the cold knife.
cool..
These studies are great. Man that guy with the knife, makes me cringe every time. Keep it up!

@Shadow Stalker: thanks man!
@Hellcow: thank you! didn't know that i have a style
@Art Minded:thanks! i didn't really learn anything. i still dont know how to draw or paint...i just randomly put more strokes down on paper until they make some kind of sense to me.
@Sean McClain:thank you!
@isokarhu:haha then i think "mission accomplished!"
@derekdedgell: thank you!
@Voodoo_Mama: sorry! too busy wasting my life
@Gpozzo: thank you!
@Dile_: thank you for your kind words!
@Nikoh: thank you!
@phiq: thanks man!
well...was kinda busy wasting my life. no excuse just laziness and stupidity. but when i found my sketchbook here again by accident i thought i could upload something.
i actually like the drawing but the quality of the photo is super shitty and destroys most of it. both are selfportraits...drawing from mirror...digital one from photo reference... should have put in more time but it started to get really boring.
realy awesome stuffs going on here !
I love it when you experiment. More like this ! => http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1329414524
wow this is so nice!
I like it!![]()
great sb, especially love this last portrait!
That last portrait is amazing!
great! yer back!
I like the last selfportrait, the colors are very nice, and the rendering is amazing!
Beautiful work.
One thing to think about is, how to use a computer to do art that cannot be done by any other means. The stuff in here you do looks like oil paints or acrylic. And yes that is good.
But you are digital painting, so it would be nice to see you take advantage of the tools to their extent and generate something that breaks the limitations of the oils and acrylics you are imitating.
@Orkimede: thank you! i do a lot of stuff like this in my sketchbook, but most of the time i just dont like to show them
@Nyoron: thank you sir!
@kevin_: thanks!
@Kapil: thank you!
@Voodoo_Mama: thank you for you kind words
@Aryeh: thanks man! well... so far i dont try to go for a specific look ....i just use the tools and stuff i feel comfortable with. but perhaps i will use the advantages when i get more experienced.
a rough paintover of a page in my sketchbook. it's....i don't even know....
i think i did a very poor job on values but i don't want to do more on this because i actually dont want to do more of these "foggy" faces. they kinda look boring....the only reason i'm doing these is because they are super relaxing and fast to paint
next update will be in september since im going on vacation...hopefully with some good and serious stuff to update.
ahhhh i love the creepiness factor to these and the way you render skin is amazing. It's got a very, I don't know -- supple quality to it? it's hard to describe. Looks squishy and in a good way. Lovely colors.
@Sapphirelullaby: thank you!
i was hiking in iceland and made some photos. i'm not a photographer at all... so not the best photos but i love the landscape and will propably do some studies based on the photos i took. here are just a few.
and then some crappy drawings and a block-in for a portrait.

Been looking through your pages. The progress from page 1 to 5 is great. I like how how your pencils have become more 'tight' (More decisive and secure strokes, more detail in focal points and more values). I also like how your digital paintings have become better tied together with strokes, values and colors. I especially like the bigger portrait up in post #138. Nice rendering! keep it up
those pencils look great and those brushstrokes!!! cool update!
@DefiledVisions: thank you for you feedback! still looooooooooong way to go
@kevin: thanks man!
two small things....one is a morning sketch and the other one....well i was listening to some music and just randomly did something.
