going to try to improve drawing skills of mine, dunno if I'll succeed. what should I, a beginner draw and do to draw cool stuff?

Welcome to Conceptarts! Check out the Fine Arts section for learning the fundamentals. I would say ditch the digital and focus on using traditional tools, i.e. pencil, charcoal, pen. You will want to start drawing from observation. Find something around your house, shoe, cup, fruit or car and draw them as best as you can.
