I suppose it comes to be time to start tracking my progress in a new sketchbook thread. I have only had a handful of art classes from my college, but largely my studies have been based around life drawings and observing other artist's works.

Many of my compositions tend to be based off of video games, this first batch has a couple that were heavily influenced by Skyrim, Mass effect, F-Zero, and even the Lion King!

This will primarily be digital artwork done in photoshop/Paint Tool SAI. I haven't a scanner to upload any of my traditional drawings, sadly.

Without further ado! Critiques are more than welcome, and much thanks ahead of time!

Note: The Lion cartoon's background was actually done by my mother, funny enough. She loves to stipple.

Working on the colours of the fighter plane sketched above. I need to add more black, and use a little less saturated purple. It's starting to bug me that it's way too bright.

EDIT: Updated sketch is uploaded now, with background colours in place.
