    Lynayru's Sketchbook: Doodlez of Horrid Horribleness

    If your looking for something pretty to look at then RUN AWAY NOW WHILE YOU STILL HAVE TIME! If not then enjoy my doodlez of horrible horribleness.

    It's a little intimidating posting here.. There are so many incredible and professional artists on this site so this stuff will probably be very out of place here. ^^;

    But anyway enough of my babbling. Here is some art.! Some of these are kinda old so hopefully I'll update with some bit more up to date stuff soon.

    p.s.: I LOVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. So please be honest.

    Thanks for stopping by. =)

    Your creatures are amazing! I highly disagree that your stuff is out of place on this site, you're highly pro-ful. I would love to see some humans and landscapes from you, I think they would be really interesting with your style.

    Nayru 7- Your creature work is looking really promising, and the anatomy of your creatures looks strong.

    For a critique I'd have to say that your pieces posted look a bit to flat and up against the picture plane you. Might want to experiment with some more depth studies, and doing some small still life practice would help you learn more about form.

    Hope to see more soon .

    Oh hi Nayru! It's Skull here.

    Since you're here for the critique, I'd like to suggest that you made some landscape-studies. Maybe do a few batches of speed-painted landscapes with photo-references to get the general idea of the shadings, lighting etc. Also, I'd really like to see what your skills for human(oid)s are.
    Also, the wolves you've drawn have dropped jaws. There should be a clear angle between the two jaws.
    You are the god of your imagination. Rule it wisely.

    Nayru's Sketchbook (critique please) UPDATED July 2012

    Hey guys! I'm back. Sorta dropped off the radar there for a while but thank you very much everyone for the critiques!! I really appreciate it.

    I've been trying to get a better hold on doing landscapes/backgrounds since I struggle with them. I also have some random dragons. As always let me know what you think and thanks for stopping by!

    These are a bit old now. But anyone have critique? My ability to draw anything human is nil. ^^;

    That dragon head is very nicely done and your enviros are very sexy. I also like the change in style with the tiger.

    Really like your style and the colors you use. I would like to see more rough environments. Studies on really how to lead the eye and bring objects forward and pushing them back. Look forward to seeing more!

    Hi everyone! I see the site is up and running again and thank you all for your lovely comments. They really mean a lot.=)

    Behold my derpy anatomy in all its derpyness. XD

    Just some little practice sketches. I really want to improve so I need to push out of my comfort zone and practice doing more full body stuff more often. (Cause I'm kinda terrible at it. lol) I feel like my art has kinda gone stagnant for the last while.

    Any critiques?

    Here be a w.i.p. of what I’ve been fiddling with tonight. Still trying to get a better grasp on backgrounds.
