    Hi,

the 2nd face looks more than a zombie than the first.

I think you should paint the edges more sharp, like you did for example in post #1. The "blurry" effect doesn't create the illusion of depth.

Try using some harder brushes with your digital stuff. They're especially good for places you want to draw the eye towards -- the sharp definition attracts attention -- and softer brushes are better for aspects of the portrait you don't want the viewer to linger on.

I think also your pencil shading could use some work. Right now it looks quite messy, and I think doing some value studies will help you here because they look flat. I do like their character though, and the figure studies at the top of your last post are really well done.

    Keep it up!

You are a machine! great work here, and definite improvement, too. I have to repeat what's been said before though, alot of your digital work lacks a hard edge and cast shadows need to be darker also. I would like to see more (finished) traditional work as well, it will help you down the road with your digital stuff. Keep it up!

Hey, lots of hard work here. The portraits are looking good, although the structure is definitely lacking in them. Maybe try to actually draw out the distinction between side plain and front plain would help. And this shows up a bit on the paintings as well.

I like the paintings from movies a lot, the Silence of the Lamb guy(forgot his guy) is awesome!

    Keep up the good work!

Some random pages from my Sketchbook. Made like 70 pages worth of sketches since I last updated with sketchbook pages, hope it's atleast a wee bit of improvement there.

    All from imagination. No refs.
