When drawing seems to fail play with watercolors, yay :3
I told you before that I like the energy of your work, and now I find that I really enjoy the quality of your lines. What sort of pen are you using?

I use pretty much anything I can get my hands on to draw. Tough most often I use a soft pencil, 6B or 8B, an ink pen, and/or watercolors
Hey Roope,
Thx for dropping by my SB, it's much appreciated.
You've got a nice touch with the watercolors and an elegant use of line in the gestures, looking forward to seeing more...
good figure studies man! the portrait gestures are nice. now try some longer portraits so you can really observe the subtleties of structure. the gestures are always a great base to start from though. helps you prioritize and not get caught up in detail.
Eightball_: Thank you so much for your positive feed back. I'll definitely try some longer portrait studies :3.
Mike LYou're welcome and thank you for your comment, It made my day brighter

Show don't tell >:3
you have very expressive lines. keep them coming! cant wait to see more!
Drawing people in the school cafeteria is fuuuun, especially if you have friends to talk to at the same time :3. Hmm one of the students seems to have developed a tentacle for an arm >_<
Aryeh Thank you for your comment. I'll do my best and you do the same >:3
nice updates recently amigo. I particularly like the energy of your linework in your fast life drawings (near the top of the page). There is a great amount of variation there, and hopefully soon that will spread to the rest of your drawings too.
As before, no crits other than just carry on doing what you're doing!

ThomasM Thank you sooo much for your comment :3. I'll ry to get more variety into my works.
Great SB. Cool to see you do both tonal / color and line studies. Color and tone are two things my own sketchbook is sorely lacking right now. You've done allot of cool figure studies, maybe mix it up a bit and create piece with multiple figures, a background and a higher level of finish? Would be very interesting to see.
Also maybe start combining the human form with some animal / insect shapes and get that imagination running with some freaky concepts?
I really like the gestures from post 80 since you've left the lines more open there. You tend to close the lines in most of your studies and this is not always a good thing (advice that was recently given to me too, as I do the same thing).
Check out some work by Henry Yan or Rebecca Kimmel to see awesome figure drawing. They also leave major open spots in some of their works and it looks great. Leaves something for the mind of the viewer to fill in.
Very cool sketchbook. Keep drawing from life and keep the updates coming!
Kapri You rock mate! You're drawings in your sketchbook have a fantastic sense of rhythm. Thank you for your great comment. I'll try to do as you advised :3. Keep on improving to even greater heights
Really very nice sketches shared in this thread.
I like all the sketches very much.
Started studying architecture @oulu university. It's been sort of fun, but assignments take way too long to finalize >..<.
