A few gestures to warm up (trying a new style of using gestures, a little looser but less accurate way; not sure if I like it yet or not), work on clothing and just a few doodads from my imaaag. Most of it sucks. Keep working harder.

Those quick poses really have a unique style. I think it's kinda nice for a change
The guy on the right could be some thug, hired by the joker, to get the bat

The folds in the middle one are pretty nice, but I think you've overdone it in the last page.

I'd like to see more diversity among the women for you--don't feel bad, there's a lot of people here who have the same problem. But they mostly seem to be skinny and white, and younger, while the men have much more diversity, though many of them are also white.

I like it that you are thinking about perspective while doing these studies!

I would maybe go for some in depth animal anatomy studies (bone structure, etc.)

I immediately recognised that Feng Zhu style Nice work! Keep it up!

Cool sketchbook. I'm curious how you keep up with your schedule. It would be hard for me to because sometimes I only have 2 hours to do anything. Your robot design looks kind of interesting. I'm curious to see the finished result.

Thanks for the comments, guys; it all helps to keep me motivated. I'm not an ID student, just teaching myself all that I can while I can.

Hopefully everyone had a good (and somewhat productive ) holiday. Here's a little clothing study that I did while sitting around at my mom's during brunch. Kinda glad the holiday's over, cause I need to get back to work and hit the ground running. I'll be buying a new laptop soon so I'll be putting up more and more digital works as well.

I really like those gestures! Have you tried using those as a starting point to a more fleshed out figure?

    Great stuff!

Just threw down some serious cash for a new laptop, so within a week and a half or so I'll be doing a lot more digital work/studies. Super excited.

Got my new laptop, so it'll be mainly, if not all, digital works for the most part from now on. Tonight was a Micheal Kutsche study. If you don't know who he is, then we can't be friends.

more perspective work; getting solid line quality on digital is harder, so I'll be working with this for a while.

Man, I see great improvement! This value study looks really awesome.
Are the lines in your perspective study freehand?

Thanks for the compliments guys; it all pushes me to keep going with everything. Perspective/line drawing practice and a value study. Not sure if I'll finish the portrait, but if I do then I'll post an update.

Did a color pass. Not completely happy with it. If anyone has any book/sites/tutorials they'd suggest for color theory, I'd highly appreciate it.
