How do I make a slideshow avatar for the artist directory

I am quite curious how others manage to do it in the artist directory forum.

My normal avatar would show up within the thread, but it won't show on the thread page.

As thread original question, can anyone show me how to make a slideshow avatar as well?

Anyone can enlighten me?

The thread thumbnail is created from the first image you attach to the first post in your thread. Use the attachment manager, which is the button that looks like a paperclip.

To learn how to make an animated thumbnail, do a google search for "how to make an animated gif."
