Great SB here, man; loving the linework especially well. And your understanding of perspective and planar surfaces makes me happy to no end.Keep it all up and Merry Xmas to ya.
Man, your Understanding of anatomy and painting is off the hook! Holy shit.
@ JonHop - : ) thanks for looking Mr Hop
@ MrFrenik - I had to look-up the meaning of "planer surfaces" ... I'm happy that mine make you happy. Happy New year, if it's not too late to say..
@ Yemi775 - Thanks for your words boss. Still a long way to go though : /
Who says I only draw mechs ? : )
one thing that's not a mech
one thing that is kind of a mech

bit more life into one of the bugs
Just started, trying to paint straight to colour (after a line sketch) with no grey-scale / values to start with... attempting to get a cleaner, more confident look with actual painting and brush work. Early days.
lots of very, very cool designs since I last visited
bit of progress on that first guy.. and another sketch that I plan to paint in a similar way :
I very much dig your style...
@Spudonkey - Thanks for your diggingness
Lost track of the "paint it clean" intention, and got distracted by trying to put some different lights on this guy
Very good creative work, mate, and the fact that you do it with such solid construction and understanding of forms to back it all up makes it that much better. And I hope me being a "scientist" isn't a bad thing, although sometimes it feels a little less creative than I should be, ha. Keep up the great work; definitely one of my favorite pages to check out here.
MrFrenik: Much thanks man. You say "mate" in Arlington? : ) And no, being a scientist is the correct approach, at least I think so more and more. Your creative stuff will be executed so much more easily and swiftly as you internalise your studies.
