So on to a big update, pretty varied stuff, school/personal. I try to work on my fundamentals, though i don't really have a decent structure, so i'm making a
schedule for the coming times in which i will be working on at school (on life painting/drawing) and in my free time especially on values, coloring, creating environments, creatures and expanding
my visual library. Updating CA at least every two days is also a must..
I'm getting annoyed by the bad quality of my workphoto's so i have decided to order a daylight lamp and will get my camera back (i'm using my phone right now) so i can make some decent pictures
soon, also during the evening. Anyways, here goes..
Still life in oils made at home.

your work is really impressing. your studies look so realistic. How long do you work on them?
I like your pencil sketches the most. I love how you work with brown paper and use white pencil to sketch out some higlights.
Hi Flügel, thanks for your encouragement!
The time it takes me to realistically render out the ones on the grey paper vary from 2 to 4+ hours, depending
on size and level of detail ofcourse. The ones with the hatching go pretty quick 30 mins - 1 hour each also depending
on complexity. Oils can take a whole afternoon and photoshop stuff days, i also clocked 100+ hours for drawings like 'the dragon bush'.
Here are two more studies in oils and a quick study of some random stuff in photoshop.
