Allright, last update for today. Glasses or no glasses? I mean, it IS me but it takes away any notion of me being the prince of darkness and all that is evil and makes it do a U-turn straight to cosplay DORKVANIA! Which can be a goal in itself as well

PixelTuner - I'd say no glasses - I wear glasses a lot of the time but decided it looked better without with this character!

    Update on mine

i have missed CHOW, i think have been more than a year since the last time.

some feedback on the legs would be great, for some reason they are giving me some trouble. i added two arrows indicating the light sources.

    update.

'Roughed' myself up a bit, I think I'll stick with the bomber jacket/ripped-jeans, biker chick werewolf - although it's about as far from my own personality as you can get! I guess the wolf brings out my wild side..

I hope this doesn't scream 'Furry' to anyone, when I render I might try to go a bit more grotesque and deformed, like some of the other werewolves on this thread!

Really loving everyones pictures so far. I think I've definitely become somewhat of a fanboy for Gadbury - great work as always. I really like your distinctive style of painting.

Getting there slowly, just not sure what I'll do for a background (if I do one), ideas?

Josu: Try to draw a groundplane to give the feet something to rest on so you can position them under the body properly.

M, Dan & Sickbrush: Bunch of rascals! Btw Sickbrush? Didn't you have loads more (longer) hair in Romania last year? :p

    Nice colours Jaunay .
Though something about the hood just doesnt appear to be sitting on the head right. I think it needs to sit back on the head a bit more.
Also notice some "jaggies" along the top of the archway behind him, you got your line tool set to anti-aliased?

Some really strong work so far ppl.
Been struggling a bit myself, drawing figures gets me frustrated

@Jaunay: there's something with the face that bugs me a bit like the eye is too low compared to the mouth/nose,
if you check some wolf references the eye is close to the nose line but not lower. I think it would read better just to move the eye a bit imo

a bit like this: just moving the eye a bit changes completely

    chow 266 werewolf wip

Hi Everyone. I am pretty new to conceptart. I have been doing creature of the week for a couple of weeks and wanted to try a character this week. This seems like a really fun topic for Halloween.
Anyway, here is sketch so far. Should start painting tonight.
