nice style YO!
nice style YO!
Definitely seeing you doing some magazine style illustration work in the future. Btw I also totally doodled on every paper our teachers gave us in high school.

MY SKETCHBOOK, COMMENT & CRITIC THE SHIT OUT OF ME
blown away!

your art has this vague, almost liquid look to it, and it's quite beautiful. i'd like to see more detailed colour work from you! i'm also curious about what something more structured would look like, too. O:
^ - what scariari said.
All your sketches and doodles have this great chaotic look, almost as if you where looking at them through the inside of a glass -- wow, that sounds wierd. But anyway, don't worry. It's a compliment. I didn't know how else to express myself.
Thank you for all the kind replies guys
I'm dealing with a massive update right now, so consider this a teaser.
It's a fictional poster for a classical concert by a fictional band I made yesterday. What do you think about the composition? I kinda like some of of the lines that appeared.![]()
Huge sketchbook. I'm totally loving it. Thanks for sharing !![]()

Another
Dritbra sketchbook! Du har skikkelig kul stil.
thx for the asskick man
you make very original stuff, don't want to say sth changing, just keep your way.
very cool poster
and the last character is just crazy, very cool idea with the fonts, I love it
Your stuff is so simple and so cool
I need to work on simplifying things with the stuff I do, I actually find that to be rather hard
I see that you do it so easily
Keep them coming, your stuff is a real pleasure to look at
great stuff, your style inspires me to less generic.
I screwed up horrobly with the timing in school again, and need some comments to cheer up. :p
First some shallow answers to neglected repiles:
Patonki - Right back at you, man. It's definitely a goal for me to get as good as you with colors and mood right now. hehe. Jay for the youth
Naidy - Thanks Nady! Yes, it's funny to look back at the older pages, when I uploaded those sketches I thought they were so good, but in retrospect, not so much..
HarbingerofIllRepute - To me it is absolutely vital to be loose like that, when I try to create something new - and it adds a cool look to a sketch too I think. It's actually something Sinix talk a lot about too.
Klaustrophil - woops, about a year late with this sketchdump. Story of my lafe basically...
Gpozzo - Thanks!
knut- - Thank you
Oxane - Lol thanks ;D I have tried a lot of different ways to draw faces lately. Some turn out cute, others don't ;p
Carrie Sprod - Jay thanks, I love to sketch really loose and let the pencil just glide over the paper with a continuous line sometimes. It's really relaxing for sure, but a little while ago I read that somebody didn't recommend it because it can make you forget that you're dealing with 3d forms and the drawing becoming too flat, but I don't know...
inverse catheter - Thank you a lot. It means a lot coming from a master of form like yourself.
theUNKNOWNsketcher - thx yo!
ozark - hehe, it's all about not stopping even thought one quits school, take the step over to work handouts, napkins, or one of my favorites, the laptop hardware.
meth - Cool, thankss!
scariari - Yeah I'm curious about that too, hehe. No really, I must start doing that.
Christoffer - I get you brother, lol thanks
nouge - Assåm, takk
Neyut - Glad to help
asa - Thank you again! I really appreciate that you are such a follower) Don't forget to update your own sb though!
JayZii - Cool, that's my aim. Thankss
I'll post sketchbook-pages another time!
very nice compositions here, i`ve seen with pleasure this sketchbook![]()

really enjoyed looking through these couple of pages, very interesting style and creative too!
I can tell you're enjoying yourself with these. I love the way you play with shapes too; warping them whilst keeping the features grounded. A veritable breath of fresh air. Looking forward to your next update!
Please give erudite, constructive critiques or give none at all.

Your facial style and pencil shading is awesome! Very stylistic and personal- keep it up!
kevin_ Right back at you!
phiq Of course I do. I'f I wasn't I'd been an engineer instead. Thank you
Olothontor Thanks!
Playing around with touchpad and photoshop one evening. My wacom doesen't work anymore. (the well known loose usb problem has hit me)
I started with a sketch on my mac hardware and by adding some colors and effects with smudge brushes I think I got some decent looking results. I definitely learned a lot about these smudge brushes that I will take use of in future projects. In a more moderate scale of course. The experiment resulted in the gallery below.
I like where are you going with your recent updates, nice red pen work and musicians. Interesting sketchbook.
thanks hu-ha. I'm glad you like it.
In this post I revisit a sketch from 2012 and redraw most of it. I must say I have improved quite a bit on girl-anatomy since then
Also there are two strange cars.
ah I love this! so much imagination flowing here! keep going in that same direction! some of the last images reminds me a bit of swedish Per Åhlins work, do you know him?
Crazy stuff man, I love it!
Dude, thanks for the clarification on the artist. You have to do a series on the musical illustrations, post 103 is a gem!
If you have a moment, Help me improve with critiques. thank you Sketchbook
Awesome sketchbooks
nim Mechanical Man
Magellan - No, I didn't really know him, but I read a lot of Alfons Åberg when i was younger. :p I looked through his set on flickr and i must say I like his syle. really clean and nice lines
Kvetch - yo, thanks
TNiznet - Hehhe, I will do that. I have some planned. Musicians are one among my favorite motives. I can really sympathize with 'em. They have a lot in common with painters.
This is my contribution to the design lab 'alien avifauna' by sinix. But I never submitted it. I recommend all to join his drawing labs though. His video commentaries are really funny, and it's a blast to see your own artwork in popular videos.
The rest are sketches from my january-february-march sketchbook. The paper in this book is horrible but I wanted to finish it anyway. Maybe it helps my line quality when i convert to quality paper. the girl-faces on the later pages are somewhat inspired by John K.
