You know what I think of these pages, man. Seriously crazy work.

Love, love, love the middle ink page. The overall image, not the style, reminds me a little of Karen's work (I know it shouldn't). The style is also very commendable - you work better outside the (apparent) limits of the comic book, I think.

From a storytelling point of view, however, some of the reverse-angle shots are disconcerting me. The last panels of the first page, for example. You sort of reversed the angles of the characters from the shot where you set them up. I hope I am making sense.

Anyway, the point being, you're awesome.

Hey man,
thanks for the comment and the critique, those last two panels in the first page are staged wrong, I went ahead with them then realised. It really stunts the readers experience.
But I am not even sure of the treatment there, maybe I slipped(or slipped even more so) .
The initial panels were also more fun to draw.

I dunno about comparison to Karen's works, her stuff kicks mine in ass, but maybe you are talking about her placements of blacks(negative and positive shapes) which seems somewhat close to what I did here.
And yeah I like offbeat more, if only it sold more .

hahah, yeah, I mean a guy has to do something on the quiet nights, to each his own. I dont know much about out of the box thinking, but I like drawing wierdesque stuff in wierdesque ways. heh. Thanks.

Here is a project, I have been working on since sometime.

Its Bayun Slayer and is about Bayun which is a russian mythical Cat creature being slayed, for the final time....or not.
It will be eventually be translated to Russian as a part of a bigger project, but for you guys here are the pages in english.

So a while back My computer restarted on its own, its gaining more sentience by the minute I think, It knew that I hadn't ctrl+s'ed the damn comic I was drawing...

In Other news Lately I have been having dream induced comic creation sessions. Hmmm. The comic that I am currently doing is taken from that, although a lot of details I have to add, cuz well the dream comic dint make shit sense and I dont remember alot of it. So it gets really oddball as it goes further. Will try to stay true to the inspiration as much as I can

I think a lot of looseness comes when you enjoying the process of drawing and painting even and arent stuck with the final image thats in your head. Then you can free yourself from the image and make something even better and different from the earlier vision. Atleast IMO.

Sin eater- Thanks, but you have to wait for a few days to get the latest pages of " A girl's Wish" since I am still figuring out the trip part, so as the make that bit more effective, but I hope it will worth the wait when I do post it.
