1 NOV - International Self Portrait Day - Ready?

Dear all,

For 6 years now, artists form all over the planet take time to do a self portrait on Nov 1st and to post it online in an event of strange beauty and amazing impact.
The self exploration is linked with a connectivity among artists from all over the world.
As our planet makes the swing of Nov 1st and the day starts in Australia and ends in Honolulu and we get to experience hundreds of artistic snapshots, honest exposures of the artists that decide to join this event.

Looking back in time to the same self portraits, done on the Nov. 1st of the last 6 years you can see great changes in style and in interests as well as subtle changes in the looks of each artist.

It's probably the most honest exercise one artist can take and there's no better opportunity than this to get a periodic self check.

Make no plans for Nov 1st.

Here are the rules:

1 - DO IT ON NOV 1st/ POST IT ON NOV 1st.
The self portrait must be done on Nov 1st. (I guess as long as it's Nov 1st where you are or somewhere on the planet it's up to you. )
No previously done work.

2 - ANY MEDIUM IS FINE.
It can be whatever medium you want - traditional (oil, pencils, etc), digital, photo, video, written - it's a self portrait - it's for you - do it as you feel like - but make it count - for you.

3 - DATE IT.
The date - in whatever format you want - must be included in your work. Usually for images we have a border - you can add your name, location, nickname website- whatever you like - but make sure the date is visible.

And that's it.
Nov 1st will hit our planet in about one hour.
