I just watched your livestream! Nice work!

I had no idea that the brain have an easier time learning stuff in the morning as you mentioned, but well, it inspired me to try an idea! From now on, I will wake up 1-2 hours earlier and try to do studies before I go to school! Would be awesome if I could learn some more stuff!

    Hey! It's worth a shot!

Wow I gotta say that illustration of the archer on post 60 is amazing. Great composition. It's very dinamic.
Good luck with your Lizard entry.

Awesome rendering skills! I really like the balance of hard and soft edges in this piece: http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/4...lverbyjohn.jpg

Nice job on your latest character. The arms in the character sheet looks a bit short to me, the lower arm and hand should generally be the same length as the lower leg, yours falls a bit short.

    Keep up the good work!

Hey John! Great updates! Your monster hunter design is very cool (I'm assuming the guy with the Japanese tattoos is your monster hunter). I especially like the posed image.

Hey John you are doing great. I've really enjoyed looking through your sketchbook. I don't think I can offer much to help but encouragement to carry on but I get the feeling with your enthusiasm you will keep at it.

I hate it when I see good art and the only thing I can is "It is awesome".
But anyway, I'll say it: your artwork is bloody awesome.

    "It is awesome" )

But yea, the studies are looking very good, it's great that you keep doing them even thou' you started to get work like a boss. It shows you're genuinely intersted in getting better.

I'd say about the goblin, maybe to do something about the eye that isn't seen. Maybe get more of it in somehow, or get the eyebrow in. That part looks a bit wierd to me as is now. Or maybe it's just me. Oh and, take note that eye doesn't really look at the viewer right now, if that was the intention, you gotta work that pupil more. It's a damn hard thing to do from my experience, haha.
