That is seriously the best piece you've ever done so far.
Great job! Too bad you got that fever though! The only thing I thought could have been touched up a bit is that left hand (his right).

nice update,good and effective studies
thumbs up man!
Here's my November Golden Boy Entry for the Crimson Daggers!
I don't have loads amount of studies this month, but all the studies I did were done before each personal painting or work to help me visualize and learn effectively, like this you double the possibility of remembering the study because you DID apply it right after to your own painting.

Crimson Daggers Gauntlet challenge studies:

That drapery study is great! SO is the Crocodile study, Amazing O: You did a really good job at capturing the texture of it's skin without it being too overwhelming
Glad to see you're back.
you've got some symmetry problems on the weapons. On the axe, the head is too overall lumpy. You've got only *slightly* different sized blades, which I can't tell if it was on purpose or they're supposed to be the same size and you just didn't manage. If they're supposed to be different sizes, exaggerate it more, also top to bottom symmetry of the blades is off.
on the sword, the hilt isn't in-line with the blade, it's tilted and makes it look sloppy/not sharp.
I'm not sure if you had reference for the crossbow, but would probably help you if you drew out a basic perspective grid, as-is it's rather broken. Also, if you've got a loaded crossbow, you shouldn't have the string unwound and resting on top of the bolt. Looks awkward.
Voodoo_Mama, Thank you for your kind words!
devin platts, Thanks man, yea you're right, i used reference for all the studies and mostly just eye balled it, the crossbow was with unwounded string in the photo so i've just done that, I'll work more on perspective in the next studies, thanks!
More studies!
