welcome to the sketchbooks...get rdy to update if you wanna be seen

your characters and colours are allright but one thing you need to keep in mind is that mucles arent seperate blocks. skin is on top of them and the way the light reflects off it creates that tonal effect. if you can try studying up on human anatomy. lifedrawing really helps if you can afford it. and try this site

Sorry for such late reply and also thanks for the advice. Cant afford to have life drawing sessions but the link that you have provided me really helps alot

Done alot of drawings but not much paintings. The first painting since a few weeks ago..

seems like you've got the human face down pretty good, I am not good enough yet to provide any kind of critique - hope you keep us up to date more often - the last piece with the buildings could use some depth with either texture or more shadow, however.

The buildings are really lacking some depth and adding more shadow or texture would probably works. Thanks

maybe you should try refs from time to time, and draw many many many figures. it helps!

Yes...use references. Aside from the nose appearing to be squared off along the top, her mouth is off center and angled weird.

hey i like your stuff, even tho i think your portraits are better than your landscapes.

One thing i can say is that i think you make the top part of noses a little flat but thru out the thread i can see improvment which is good
