So good to see the forums back, I missed it here!
Here are some things I worked on while waiting for the update. Some sketches and some painting practices. I really love sketching on newsprint with prismacolor pencils.

Hey, so much goodies in here already! Your sketches are great and I like the variety in them. The glass in image #7 is great. I also like the sketches in #22 #23 #31 #64 and the architecture images in #47 are nice! Oh, and the Liepke studies are very good as well! Ok, I admit I like it allKeep posting!

cool stuff! really like the post where you kick your own ass :b keep posting!
I love all of these studies, totally beautiful! My favorite thing you've posted so far is the tree bridge landscape, so vivid and lush.
Thank you so much for your comments, I really appreciate it! <3 One more sketch before sleep :) Inspired by http://cathleentarawhiti.deviantart....n-17-339808132
Another sketch for today. I need to work harder! :)
These are some color thumbnails for a traditional painting I'd like to try working on. Any thoughts on which one works best?
This is really rough, but another mood/color script for a painting. I'm going to try to take this one to finish, because I usually just do quick sketches and have trouble finishing images to their full potential. I'll post the WIPs as I go as motivation to keep working on it.
no, I need to work harder.
ur stuff is great.
Some creature, character, and costume sketches.
I want your clouds~~~~~~~~ You jus inspired me to do some sky stuff when i am done with what I am doing here. thank you and good night!
Do a lot of work and your work will be as good as your ambitions.
Eternal Sketchbook
Tensai --- A La Bapsi --- Psychobuddy --- Wingal--- Lakai
I realized something - all my paintings are flat and missing good lighting and depth. So I am going to try to push that in my work and study it more.
love the way you naturally produce such great color compositions and characters i want to see alot more!! i dont mind if its unfinished, even better! being able to look at your process is the most wonderful thing of them all![]()
my sketchbook! Drawing like a maniac!!
My Blog
Destroy your weaknesses! theres nothing more to it! stop bitching grab that pencil and sketch Away!
Nice work. The digital stuff is great.
Nice sketchbook! I like your digital work a lot. Especially how you use different brushes in the colour sketches.
Maybe, this is helpful for you, if you want to focus on depth:

It's just a bit of all the possibilities, but a nice one I think. Using really different values and saturations for different parts of the paintings can really help to get depth. You need some contrasts between foreground, middleground and background. But you're already on a good way. Keep it up!
lovely stuff in here. I especially like your colour studies and environments - they have a lot of personality.
My only suggestion would be to explore a wider variety of figures. You're quite good at attractive ladies, but there are so many other types of people out there. don't forget all the old, fat, homely, and weird looking people. They can be the most fun to draw
Happy sketching!
Since a lot of my work feels flat, I'm going to try to work on texture and using more depth in color - more desaturated tones with the saturated ones more as a focal point. For today, I did six material sphere studies and some nose sketches.
Some sketch studies of street fashion.

Some color studies before work!
Time to study some poses. Most were referenced from http://tasastock.deviantart.com/gallery/ on deviantart.
