todays play with alchemy and one sketch
I'm stuck at totally childish pictures from my imagination... I don't see objects in 3D but flat as hell, colors are cartoonish and exact opposite of where I want to go How you people get better at making up stuff from your heads? I think I'm more or less capable of decent study from RL, but when I want to think something up, I'm hopeless.. any help?

evening drawing class... I slightly edited perspective in photoshop, because head was too big thanks to drawing board distortion.... it always look OK in class, but at home I see how wrong is that. I need horizontal canvas flip in real life

Haha, I hate legs too! XD Nice studies, I can definitely see improvement. Just gotta keep chipping away at it, we will get there eventually right? The drawings from your figure drawing class are also starting to look a lot more polished and lively. I look forward to seeing where you will take that WIP. Keep at it!

Love your dot shading. Looks like you are off to a good start. I am not good with anatomy but got one suggestion for your digital shading. stay away from blur tool and blend with your own colors using more intermediate strokes. blur tool creates dull gradients. all the best.

@mirapakai - I'm glad you like it .And on that blending note, i never use blur tool for it, only for "post processing" so everything I shaded is done by brush and color picker.
