Me and my pixels going wild (crit appreciated!)

    Hello world,
suppose i should introduce myself a little bit before i bore you to the dead with another "i dont wanna flip burgers at (insert fastfood chain here)" sketchbook. Currently im 23 yo student of Aesthetics and Comparative art studies at MUNI (Czech Rep.) and i was attracted by art and graphic design since high school. I wanted to go at art college, but something went wrong (like usual) so thats why im studying Aesthetics if you are asking Now i want to go back on that trail and this is part of my way there. I was drawing before, but im very lazy person and i wasnt able to force myself to draw everyday because my motivation was focused more on MMOs and stuff so i start pretty much from beginning. I want to work in illustration / concept art / design for entertainment industry (gaming ideally) mainly in 2D with touch of third dimension (Zbrush etc. but that has time).

TLDR; wanna draw cool robots for money

Here are some of my recent works. Im still struggling with tablet interface so my lines are fuzzy and warp tool call me master, but i hope it gets better. In near future im planning to start focusing mainly on human anatomy combining it with drawing still life from photo reference. I will be thankful for any advice or comment and if is there anybody working in the field and willing to mentor my way I will be one happy human.
    See ya soon

Please look on last page and rate my improvement or criticise. It will be very appreciated

That jug is totally supreme! You seem to have your gloss just right and the reflection on the surface is very nice. I would buy that jug. looking forward to more stuff

    Thanks for comments guys
Todays skull. I started to shading one to get better sense of volume (or more likely to take break from linework) and i will finish it tomorrow (propably). Im using same technic like in the jug but this time there are more hard shadows and steeper gradients and its less "precise". Working from photo reference :/

nice stuff so far! How did you do the jug--is it a 3d program?
the figure drawings look nice and clean. Good proportion & weight for the most part.
if you want to draw cool robots, post up some cool robots next!

It is done in Photoshop by layer shading as in Matt Kohr tutorial on Basic rendering at http://www.ctrlpaint.com/ . And im not sure if im skilled enough to pull out some kickass robotery right now, but i will try

I wanted to try something with markers, but i currently have no marker friendly paper so i started doing dot shading. Hands are bad and eyes ended way to creepy, but it was strangely relaxing

some 2 mins "gesture" drawings. I should started with this in first place because even this is quite challenging for me And maybe I need little help with this... should I draw it on A3 like in first two pics, or should I go with A4 sketchbook like in rest? Because if i keep using A3 papers, i will burn through them in hours, not days, and on the other hand A4 is maybe little small for this What do you think?

Some experimentation with artist's leads (whatever it is... local producer isn't exactly clear about that), but I don't like it... it's practically unerasable and I'm not able control shading very well. I can't wait to get my hands on some hard pastels... btw. when I'm at art supply store I start to feel like kid in toyshop
