Lots of sketchbooks go for several posts at a time without any responses. Like any forum system it depends on who's online and what time of day you post and how much you post on other's sketchbooks.

Beside, it's as much about documenting progress as it is about getting feedback. It's good to see so many studies and gesture drawings. Keep pushing them, it's all about hours clocked with drawing.

This site http://www.pixelovely.com/gesture/index.php has a really good figure drawing tool. Keep working hard, and try to stay positive. You can do it! Ra ra ra!

Hey Ameysha, don't be "sad" about it. I have a lot of time in my sketchbook that nobody comment, but that's relative, like MoKhi says. If you try to comment other's people sketchbooks, and try to be active you will have some comments, but it's not the main thing, I mean, apart of comments, try to make your best in any update. Hope you can understand (: (My english it's not good)

Well, your SB it's still new stuff here, good that you make studies, and that's it's the really basic. I mean, I have 7 pages and the main element on my SB are studies. And people that have way more pages than me, they sketchbooks are mainly studies. So, attack those studies, and I'm going really to back here
(Try to see some anatomy books, and try to "copy" that, that's not an ilegal thing! You're definetely get better doing that, also make drawings from life too)
    See ya' around

Thanks for visiting my sketchbook ^^
I see alot of studies, just as it should be! (Not like me almost none)
I agree with the others, you should definetely work on anatomy. Another thing I want to point out is those digital paintings. You should work with a more saturated color, he looks very pale, doesn't he?

Keep working and you'll get better over time!

The best way for you to learn shadow (and light) are to spend some time drawing objects from life....Good going with the gestures. Keep this up and draw as much as you can. You will improve. Good start!

keep up the work, 1000 gestures is a great idea. try gestures of the head too. all the stuff your learning in the gestures can be put on the head drawings.

Thanks for stopping by the SB

Maybe it'd be good for your digital painting if you'd use a hard edged brush (eg the basic round one) instead of this fluffy thing. As it is, your values (shadow vs light) need a lot more definition and clarity to give the images realism.
But very good work on all the studies anyway, keep posting! c:
Please take a look at my Sketchbook! <- Comments are highly appreciated and returned C:

Nice job with the sketchbook. For your gestures I feel like you are following the contour of the model and not really considered with the movement. I suggest you try to really try to draw through the model. I think you might need to learn how to establish structure in your figure, try looking through Andrew Loomis - Figure Drawing For All It Is Worth along with George Bridgman's Constructive anatomy and Vilppu's Drawing Manual. Those books will really add that three dimensional look to your drawings and really help you add form to them.
