So heres some fun facts about whats been happening lately. So I applied to Art School last year after leaving my course and got in. I was really nervous about whether it would be making good use of my time or not and how out there it would be and I found myself really, relleh not enjoying it. So I have decided the best path forward is definitely to study independently full time, focused training no distractions. So thats what I've been doing as of the past week, it feels great in a scary way to have no illusion of a safety net or anything. I have to make it or else go home so going to be doing a lot of studies and leveling things up and getting a folio together and looking for some work soon. Just thought i'd post this here for anyone whos interested and for myself to refer back to at a later time of this stage.

SO ANYWAY heres some stuff I've been doing lately :

- Sam Carr's November sketchbook challenge, a page a day. Here is pages 1-8, pages 1-3 are imagination rest are studies.
- Random sketch
- Composition and colour thumbnails (Really need to work on this)
- Some fleshed out environments
- Portrait sketch from head
- Tried to do a less fantasy type illustration
- Sand Shark.
- Nov 1st Self Portrait
- Bandit Character Concept sheet

Ok hello, so it's the end of november now and I was hoping this post would be filled with work I was really proud of and that everything was going great but this is not the case and its most likely my own fault. It's the end of my first month studying full time at home and I am not being tough enough on myself. I need to do a lot more paintings and studies, I know I can get to where I want to be but right now I' not helping myself do that. Im angry at myself and what im producing but i have nobody to blame but me so it's time to kick up a notch and get some results. This sketchbook is becoming a bit of a personally diary of my thoughts so I apologise if this seems a bit of a tangent. Anyway lets post some art

- November was "Daily sketch bulk up Challenge" set up by Sam Carr so here are pages 9-30 to finish off the lot
- A longer environment study from the new Final Fantasy cinematic
- Quick env study
- One hour thing done on livestream
- Sketch of a guy thing
- Generic Evil Tower knight sword sketch thing
- Some quick colour thumbs
- A painting I did for my grans birthday

I have some other stuff but its not really worth showing or isnt done or urswbuifuipebsf hope you enjoyed this super fun happy post

K so blehhh. Heres some stuff. Been a little dead and pretty frustrated but I feel i've started to sort things in my head again a bit and things are picking up. So anyway heres things and hopefully i'll have better stuff to show in the near future some possible exciting things coming up.

Sounds like you need to cheer up its possible to be productive without beating yourself up to a point where you're unhappy or frustrated all the time. You're improving really quickly! Just get down to nailing those fundamentals

loving these moleskine pages man, on your last post i think the armour should have more curvature over the chest/ribcage and also given the fact shes leaning backwards would add to that effect.

OK hello Happy New Year and such I hope you are all well :3
So it's been a couple weeks and christmas and what not happened and I relaxed a little for the first time and went out and just saw more and I think it did me good and now I'm a little bit smarter about how im studying too, hopefully will progress faster. Optimistic about this year and anyway heres some stuff Been working on figures and characters mainly so some more boring stuff but ya:

- Some drawings done over christmas
- Anatomy/pose/gesture study pages
- a poorly composed sketchpage aha
- quick face study
- Environment painting based on what I saw in Wales this christmas
- A character sheet render thing of some space chickkkfesnfsgerdg
