BAZINGA! Atuna's SKETCHBOOK

Hello everybody!

I wanted to open a sketchbook for a long time but everytime I look at those already existing, felt like a total loser. So many awesome sketchbooks here X___X ... I really want to be as good as everyone else here.

My name's Miriam, 18 years old , female and from germany.
I know XD too much germans here ( wir sind überall was XD? )
2006 I've started with Manga , but I failed miserably.
Until August 2010 I started taking art more "seriously". I chanced my style and lost many time with doodling on your books.
Since march 2011 I practice anatomy and the rest.
I'm really inspired by japanese music ( I love KOKIA )
That's all. I'll practise, I promise.

oh I'm liking your sketchbook so far.

On your Goddess of Cherry Blossoms, there are some issues (the biggest one in my eyes being the angle of the hair on the head doesn't seem right), but I think it's a solid piece overall. I'm not the best at critiquing, but I would suggest posting this up on the Critique Center as the advice you get there will be invaluable.

Also, very nice still lifes. I thought they were photographs at first.

hehe thanks I feel flattered. But why do you wanna be as good as me? my stuff is not so good, and you would be limiting yourself if you compare to me. Your own potential is way too unique and amazing to be trashed by a comparison. And If I were to compare I'd say that you're 18 years old and are way better than what I was at your age, I'm 19 now, so when you hit 19 and if you keep up the good work you might well be light years from me

hey, wollte hier auch mal vorbeischauen. Wirklich schönes Sketchbook mit vielen interessanten bildern. Besonders die "Schmetterlingfrau" gefällt mir sehr gut. Würde jedoch zwischendurch auch ein paar Aktstudien machen, um in der Anatomie noch sicherer zu werden.
