It was really fun participating in this activity!
Thank you all for your comments and your helpful advices.
To second Rob Powell that so eloquently put it as a signature:
Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!
    Cheers to you all!

Deadline is up so I think I can comment. Brilliant entries again this week, I really love the diversity of the IOW, so many different styles and more traditional illustrations than other challenges which is awesome.
I got no idea who I'm voting for yet but I enjoyed looking at each and every submission this week, you guys rule.

Wow there are so many brilliant pieces. I am truly speechless. Well done to everyone!

Hideyoshi, I must say I like yours the best. It has a beautiful composition of colours and there is a very dramatic story to your piece. The sense of depth and distance is also excellent.

Tough round! I went for zimfin in the end because I felt it was such a bold simple image

    Chur

I voted Hideyoshi but I quite liked Zimfins work...... it was just lacking a bit in composition.... praps a nice crop on the image would have swayed my vote.

I'm surprised that there was so little love for Grumbleputty's entry. It may not be the best entry in technical terms, but the surreality of the bookcases in the marshes is striking, and this was the entry I kept going back to and taking another look.

Thanks Cyr- I was a little disappointed myself, but I had to remind myself I was up against some extremely talented artists! Glad to hear you liked the mystery of it though- that's really what I was going for.

I'm so glad I don't have to judge these, lol...they're all WAY too good. You're all masters in my book.
