    Perspective Tool/Plugin?

I used the free perspective grid from this website.

It gets sort of messy, and I was curious if there were cleaner/better perspective tools out there that anyone has come across?

I think this could be a nice tool to use from time to time. I don't want to depend on it as a crutch, but I do think it'd be handy.

    Thanks.

Looks like an invaluable tool for those who don't know how to use a ruler to draw a line through a given point.

Seriously, it is just a template containing every line through a vanishing you will ever need. Yes, this gets sort of messy, because you don't need most of these lines in a drawing, so most of them just get in the way.

Learn to draw the construction lines you need, and you may want to use Photoshop paths for this, as shown in the video. And believe me, you don't need them all...

Wow dude, that tool rocks! Thanks so much for posting it. I was looking at PS's vanishing point tool last week and I still don't know how to use it, even after playing around with. It seems to work better with photographs that have already established a vanishing point instead of aiding you in the construction of new objects. This will really help me as I have a project that I could use this on right now. Yes I did do it the hard way and sketched it all out traditionally, then scanned it in and realized it wasn't diminishing toward the vanishing point drastically enough for the composition. -.-

Personally, I haven't seen anything else like this out there yet so thanks.

I stated in my post that I don't want to use it as a crutch, but that it just may be a fun and time saving tool to use. I wasn't looking for a speech from a soap box.

Cool, I'm glad you found some use out of this! The PS vanishing points were kind of tricky to use as well. I think I'm going to grab a PS vanishing point tutorial somewhere and see if I can't just make use of that.

Manga Studio EX has a pretty good perspective ruler tool.
