I do agree about the proportions, I noticed some joints are off. Need more practice and hopefully a bit of theory studies too!

Hey, good to see you’re working hard! I like this imagine girl. It looks you drew her effortless and had fun. It’s good to mix the serious studies with easier work. It keeps the inspiration and fun going.
Great to see the Loomis body studies! I think they’re quite hard to do, even if there is this measure line to guide were to place the different parts.
Good work with your hand studies! I think that you’re improving with them! Keep it up!

every one helps each other and the comments are usually helpful for improvement, plus the pressure of keeping up with others help
with improvement. besides that i see your line work is getting more confident, keep up the good work!

Thanks Adrian! I didn't know about the group, it does sound very interesting. I took a quick peek, 50 gestures by the 18th? I'll try my best!

I use MMA guys for male gestures, they tend to be pretty cut and in active poses.

I totally recognize the ax guy from pixel lovely and the hands from Andrew Loomis! Haha keep on truckin! I really like the environment (rivers) as well. Try maybe doing some gesture drawings using only a thick brush and do it as a form study rather then lines for some variety.

I try to be disciplined because I stopped drawing for a few months and I have to make up for it.
Is there some site for the MMA pictures? or do you freeze frame the fights?

Life drawing workshop in Montreal (Syn Studio), they have another session in two weeks.
Also Doctor Sketchy is tomorrow! 50% chance that I will go.

Gotta say your skills on paper blow me away, your digital skills are not yet as good, but definitely getting there!
Really inspiring I've subscribed to the thread! We've got a dr sketchy here on saturday, I wonder if they are similar.
Over here they focus less on drawing and more on getting drunk
