Trials and Tribulations SB Updated 2-17-2012

Hey folks, Im an aspiring illustrator with big plans for myself. Not sure if this is the place where i post my introductions but it cant hurt right . Ive visited this site many times but have always been timid to actually join..but some of the stuff ive seen just wants me to push harder and try to become a REALLY good artist. So i plan to draw and sketch everyday if i can(something i should be doing anyways but whatevs lol)

Anyway my first post is a study of an apple i did. Originally did this in a workshop that my professor was holding. he also gave us some sick brushes to use
didn't get to finish but i learned a few things.

Ill try to update everyday if possible with my anatomy, free-sketches, gestures and whatnot and hope to learn from some of the more seasoned and experienced artists here. I am looking for your guidance

Todays products, I did WAY LOT more but my lame scanner barely picks up the lines. guess its my fault for drawing them so light and junk.

The guy with the afro is pretty old, but the gesutre drawings are from today. ill probably work in pen more when i do my gesture drawings
