Hey ErikR, You have some great stuff here. your sense of value and composition are strong. but I feel like you're relying on the software to much for color and texture.

If you don't mind, Id suggest painting from life or photo. and try some figure drawing, preferably from life.

You've got a gorgeous, lively sense of color and some really interesting ideas, but they're held back by some fundamental problems. The biggest one of proportion. Pretty much every figure has at least one or two things wrong with it. All this work from your imagination is great, but slow down and do some observational studies (from life if possible; photos if not) until the proportions of the human body are ingrained in you, and your hand can more accurately reflect what's in your head.
And when I say slow down, I mean work on them until they're 100% correct. There's a great quote I heard here on cA once--"Practice doesn't make perfect; perfect practice makes perfect." You won't learn proportions by allowing mistakes.
I'd suggest spending more time your imaginative work too, flipping it horizontally and correcting and correcting until you're convinced it's right, but spending time working from reference first will help with that.

So again, there's some real talent shining through here and some fresh ideas. But take a step back so you don't compromise your pictures with comparatively weak fundamentals.

Spaceship sketch. I feel like the design on this one is kinda weak, but figured i would post it anyway and those searchlights should probably not be that visible during daytime. I gotta do more planning next time... and also slowly finish some stuff.

BenjaminJL92: Oh not enough : P, I have been struggling with wrist pain(which might be caused by a gangilion cyst if you know what that is) and therefore haven't really been able to draw as much as I would like. Also I've been having irl issues which are better now though. I'll be finishing school next year so after that I will be able to paint a lot more . But usually when I'm not painting/drawing I watch a lot of pro artists work over at cghub or just think about art or what i can do to improve etc. But thanks a lot for that comment, really encouraging . My goal right now is just try to draw/paint as much as i can without getting burnt out/fucking up my wrist, and I've started doing more studies too. Srry for writing an essay here xP.

Here's a 2:42am sketch once again, kinda focusing on soft vs hard edge which I've realised is very important. Will hopefully have something more finished at some point Soon ™:s.

But still, cools renders, you have something good going on with colors, you will kick ass in a near future if you concentrate on nudes study :3
