Hello there, my fellow Homestuck :0 Nice sketches! The lightning is a bit inconsistent in some drawings. Perhaps it would help if you determine the light source before you start to shade.

Hello there!

I've noticed that you seemed to have requested me as a friend. Well what I can suggest, although I am not sure if you are able to scan them, is for now to work with the traditional medium. I've noticed that you have a manga influenced style but what I suggest is you try and put it aside for now(I know how hard it is to do that) and try and work on proportions for an actual human figure. You can try and read Figure Drawing For All It's Worth and do a lot of studies from it. Another important thing is to do tons of gestures as it will get you improving fast!

@kamikazell33t I work with traditional just as much as digital but I don't have much access to a scanner but phone takes decent pics so I'll start using that. Ah, I've started working on figures and gestures but none are really good enough to upload atm so I'll be working on them more today.

It's nice to see another homestuck on here! Love your stuff, but it might be beneficial to you to go to the basics again, you know? And also to draw the bodies and faces of people who aren't skinny/white so that you can get used to those differences too.
