    hi peoples.
blightedart- thanks for dropping by matey. i saw some work by mattias a while ago and it had a big influence on me. I felt the same about Quentin Blake when i first saw his work. I really like Sylvain Chomet aswell. The list of people that have influenced my artwork could go on but i would probably put these three at the top.

These photos are of a large image i've done for a local gallery window.

    Hi matey

I was wondering! where does your inspiration come from, years of MAD magazine, stressful life escapism from the stock market or where you just warped by owning kids?
I wondered because its delightfully mad in here LOL.

all the best matey, please keep posting or I may get lonely in here !! LOL

Definitely subscribing. Good on ya for liking Blake and Chomet too. I just watched The Illusionist the other week.

Love the "Blimey!" cartoon strip, hahaha.

I love this latest piece! Where would you even start on something like this? do you work front to back or do a plan-sketch? Or do you just have at it?

hi rhubix. with this last pick i made a cup of tea then i drew most of the chars and machinery etc in the sketchpad. i then used these as reference to compose the scene from front to back with a general idea for what the composition would be. bit of planning, bit of 'have at it!'

these sketchpad pages are for another big scene.
