Skyllberg: Who would have guessed. I've been into digital art for years now with no intention of ever going back. But I've been recently bitten by the acrylic painting bug. Bought some paints, some retarder and some glazing medium and I'm hooked!
Here is a preparation drawing for my latest project. I'm hoping to build up my skill and get some work doing magic cards in the future. This is a reinterpretation of the Skaab Ruinator from MTG. A friend challenged me to a paint-off. We picked a card at random and are both having a stab at it. Props to Chris Rahn for painting the original so damn well and giving us a run for our money.

The little goblin is very loosely based on a Rakham miniature. Don't know the sculptor.
