@AdrianNagorski: thanks a lot!
@kitfox: thanks, it's encouraging to hear that
@mike butkus: thanks a bunch

just some scribbles for the sake of update
a portrait of Scarlett Johansson (her facial features are tricky to get right and I failed), a copy from one of Mucha's paintings (not exactly, it has many faults and far from being a copy
), a figure from ref with focusing on the outlines, and lastly a simple cube I did with oils( it's a little blurry in the picture )
The outlined figure is really nice, you should try rendering it!
The perspective of the cube seems a little skewed. You might want to get a good underdrawing done before you paint over it.

Your artwork is amazing! Your people are so fluid and full of life! I can already see lots of improvement in your art, especially on post #58. If you feel like you didn't grasp the concept correctly, I'd recommend you to re-watch and draw the video again, since it has really helped you improve imo, and it's a very important subject
I love the first face on your last pose, looks gorgeous! Stylized yet realistic. However, your second face's nose looks somewhat weird to me. Although maybe she just has an ugly nose, ha! And I agree with Kitfox, the perspective on your cube looks somewhat distorted. Try separating the vanishing points more, that usually does the trick for me
Keep up the excellent work!
Those latest Villpu studies look great. And I can definitely see the likeness in the Scarlett Johansson. I can see how her facial features (nose) are definitely tricky but I think you did a good job. The Mucha face looks slightly wide (though I don't know how the original is), maybe rendered too soon before fixing the proportions. The outlined drawing below it is awesome, once again jealous of how you can define form so well with a single line.
I think it's been ages since I last posted here!! @_@
actually my life's been a mess and my job is consuming all of my time
oh well...I have to have a proper time management...
anyhow... just a very little update
wanted to try rendering... from imagination
Glad to see you posting! The pencils from imagination look great, especially that first one, awesome actually. The second one the way the head is attached to the neck (neck looks a little short) looks a little off. Can't wait to see more and hope you keep finding time to draw.
@ browntear: thank you so much man . yeah I agree with you, actually I have a problem with heads that are facing toward the left side, I guess that's cause I'm used to drawing 3/4 view faces that are facing the right side.
well, I'm really outta practice because it's been a long time since the last time I drew something. I was busy finding jobs. First I became the translator for a magazine but I was the only translator at that office and they gave the work load that was supposed to be for 4 people! @_@ So I quite and then took some classes to become a teacher, and recently I managed to have a couple of classes to teach and it's really a tough job but very enjoyable...
anyway tonight I found some extra time to draw in my sketchbook and decided to post hem here to say that I'm still alive.
