Hey hey! Nice sketchbook you've got going on here. It's cool to see the improvement in your character work over the last year. My only piece of advice would be to work at varying your textures a little more and implying differences in the surfaces of your figures and the things they're wearing. Keep it up!

You background work is incredible but your character design is simply perfect!!!

As for the new image, it's looking pretty nice, do you plan on finish it? Because if you do I suggest you change the color of the middle ground (cream rocks) as right now they are blending with the foreground and it all looks like it's together, a single "ground" rather than a foreground and a middle ground.

crit for post #99: the light-ray going through the window is a nice touch, though i think that type of ray can only exist in a closed room. in an open atmosphere like this, where there isn't a strong light source near the window, such a light-ray can't really happen, unless there is a person in there with a really powerful lamp or something.

Sketch from #99 has nice contrast and I like the overall simplicity of the piece. The most recent sketches have nice line work in the foreground.
aks9 Light rays like that can exist outside. I've seen them above the ocean and around mountains, as well as areas with trees. I believe there just needs to be some sort of mist/dust in the air. However, I don't think the light source in #99 makes sense given the window ray's direction.
