I thought I could start a skeetchbook here.. I mean I have an account here for a long time and no works uploaded, it's time now!
So I'll start with some sketches and then get more and more active with time, need tons of practice!

You need to update more often man. Make a habit of it. You will improve so much, not just because you are drawing everyday but by coming on here you get motivated and influenced so often. That being said, you would benefit alot by going to he basics. I would get these books here http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/ , if you dont have them already. I would read them, not just look at the pretty pictures, but read them, follow them, copy them and apply them to life drawing and imagination drawing. Other good ones are Micheal hamptons book and vilppus books. I found that the vil ones really helped me with warming up before drawing longer things or drawing from imagination. Im still learning but the stuff I mentioned has been told to me before, and has worked for me. I like hamptons book more then loomis but loomis still has so much good information. Im rambling now, good luck!

hi, Nowio
the thing is that you aren't able to paint from imagination without studies
by studies i mean:
still lives, screen cap studies, master copies, photo studies, plain air
as soon you will start working on it, the faster you will get better
Hi takashmen,
thanks for the tip, i think i get what you mean. will do these as soon as possible![]()
As many said that I have to go back to the basics and learn them as fast as possible to get better and improve faster I decided to do so. I am focusing at the fundamentals and what I found out right from the beginning is that if I got the perspective, light or even the form right then the whole picture looks and feels right. It's awesome! Of course you don't have the epicness designings some crazy monsters but you realize that if you've mastered the fundamentals then you can do these crazy stuff twice if now three times better... plus the picture is more understandable! However I have surprizingly more fun doing these that I thought I would have

Great jump of quality imo! Especially the composition thumbnails are very good and how you mapped out the shading in the last portrait![]()
Please take a look at my Sketchbook! <- Comments are highly appreciated and returned C:
Something to relax, a bug... done during a break from perspective

Okay, as told by Hitsu I should do whatever I want after some practice tasks and here it is! Not much but I'm okay with the results.
As for now time to go digital, time to practice some stuff in Illustrator.
