Looking at your gallery, it seems you're moving positively in that direction.

By the way, adorable kid you have there. I see he has the same artistic inclinations as his father. Happy belated birthday to little guy.

Wow you're tearing this place up with new drawings! I finally started doing my own sketches, but the hatching on your drawings is creating an interesting effect. I'm curious, these are pencil drawings, right? How do you get such dark strokes?

Thanks! Most of these are pencil drawings. To get such dark strokes, I use a 0.7 HB lead, but, at times, if the lines are too faint than I'd prefer, I adjust the contrast in Photoshop or touch up the blacks in the same program.

Another update. Spider-Woman and Phoenix, naturally, are properties of Marvel. The woman riding the giant nanobot? All mine. I'm sure Marvel is sooooooooo jealous.

Great updates, but the spidey womans boobs are bothering me a bit and I'm not sure why..They just don't look part of her..hard to explain. I think it's the hard line between the webbing and her boob.

Just checking, the leg placement on the nanobot girl - The way that she's on it makes it look like she's about to slip off it at any moment - Is that intentional? Because with the knee bent like that, it looks quite painful.

About to start reading your webcomic.

Other than that, I'm liking your updates.

Thanks for the critique. Regarding Spider-woman, I wonder if it's not so much her breasts but the positioning of her head? Perhaps it's too low? I agree, something does seem a bit off.

The nanobot gal is, indeed, having a hard time staying on. The rendition of her legs, though, may also be off.

    I appreciate your comment.

Here's a more illustrative update. The first pic is a Simon Oates tribute from the English series "Doomwatch" and the latter is a depiction of a character "The Line", property of this fine artiste: http://sumo0172.deviantart.com/

Here's a bit of an older piece. I drew this to reflect my general feelings as an artist to get noticed and making it in the art world. I drew it several years ago and my situation has changed very little. Still, I fight though. You never know.

I like the mermaids piece - very nicely composed - Not to sure about the stretched out hand but I'm not sure as a beginner if that's what a foreshortened hand looks like.

Like the last image - the boy looks unamused.

    Hi Steve,
I think you're totally right about her hand, actually. I think hands are one of my (many) artistic weakspots. I think more people have had noted problems in my art with regards to hands than any other aspect. I always thought people would have bigger problems with my character's legs.

    Thanks for the critique!

Ah, another tiny, insignificant, morsel of an update.

I think I misplaced her nipple on her left breast but, more damnably, I learned recently that ducks don't actually wear scuba gear.

Damn. This just isn't my week.

I didn't know that. I mean...yes. Yes, that's exactly what I was depicting! A woman with a bad boob job! That's the ticket.

Here's a series of drawings of a stripper I drew as a bit of a fundraiser for a comic project I did with Josh Eiserike called "Anyone but Virginia". Despite the drawings, we managed to raise the money.

Just a comic strip I created. I thought about throwing a series of these at a newspaper syndicate but I find myself torn between the comic world (doing my own thang) and the more mainstream.

Just one more tiny update. It's a depiction of Aria, from my little ol' comic "Opey the Warhead", as seen through Opey's eyes.

I am always happy to see a heavily sexy girl type oriented
sketchbooks on conceptart. You just made my day. And
of course I like the comic book style. The faces on the previous
pages are looking interesting and the breasts are also attractive
enough. What you still need to do is to do more anatomy studies,
and more females from photo references. That will tighten up
the little flaws that you have here and there. Overall you have
a 'different' kind of sketchbook and that is more than enough for me.
I guess that I am subscribed.
Oh, and I am always up for the more blood, more sexuality, porn
and mature content. But that's just me.
    SEXUAL CONTENT !WARNING!
    Many many days of conceptart.org
