Well I'll start off with some old pics, and a really short introduction

25 years old, from Luleå in Sweden, dogowner, roleplayer, and a hardcore tea drinker.

I learned a lot on this piece, and i stort of pleased with it, yet I'm mostly pleased in "Next time I'll do it even better" way.

Again, you are a strange one. I think you have skills and sometimes they are blocked somehow and you make obvious flaws, not normal ones because of lack of drawing skills but ones you can avoid with some attention. Whatever, seeing flaws and don't making them in the first place are skills that should be learned, after all

Your digital stuff are too soft, your traditional ones are stronger because they are clean. I love those animal portraits. Especially the last one, it's fiery, I'd put on my wall and it would cheer me up
I kinda like the Maya Sandgen pic. The Katie Gordon one... well the eyes aren't at the same level, her left one is lower - but both are very high. Some people has strange proportions though (and not lined up eyes but those are really disturbing).

I think he reason i make this flaws is because it hard to keep it all in my head, and that i simply have enough structure to my process to deal with it. Or something like that. That why some feedback really helps.

Than you, some how it easier to work traditionally since you have it work in a definitive manner.

Hey I just wanna thank you for that draw your old picture meme. I was actually incredibly paranoid that I would not have improved over the years. Eventually though I overcame that horrible fear and went for it. But that post of yours really pushed me. Thanks!

Oh a new portrait (#10)! Nice, nice, the blending could be better, especially on the hand but it's not bad at all

Hmmm maybe I should do this draw again meme I know I improved but my old characters are neglected and it's no good...

I like you put some sketches here. You should paint figures as well, you are much better at bodies than, for example, me

And I was sitting done doing some sketches as you posted so I decided to upload them.

Wow. I'm sure the background, the shadow and the texture on her clothes are important factors as well but it looks quite realistic, the features are where they should be but the cheeks has illogical values, they shouldn't be lit brightly everywhere. Even if there's some unusual lighting, the mouth area and the chin would be affected more. At least these are my thoughts.
I kinda like the hair, it would be great for a little less stylized or softer face but the sharp face would need some sharper hairs here and there I guess. The tiny strands seems "forced" though, normal hair is more simple, nice, flowy, loose. (My English, coming into the way...}
Oh, maybe the corner of the mouth (one of my pet peeve ), they are little lines now, without the (sometimes very subtle) shadows around (mostly above) them.
And so on but still, it impresses me much
Oh and I may be wrong here and there, faces are tricky, I can never learn everything about them.

Okey. Not a sketch, but some craft, bookbinding. I love it, but well... I'm not all that skilled at it.

But sometimes lot of work and a lot of leather can compensate for skill.

For the book below was made with really basic sewing and cutting skills. It not beautiful but it is pretty badass.

Material:
* Some scrap leather of different qualities.
* Paper.
* Tread.

Tools needed:
* Exacto knife.
* Cutting board.
* Leather hole puncher
* 2 needles.

For punching the pattern around the sun in the front I needed some more tools.
* Hammer.
* A screw.
* Water.

And last of all I added some
* Some gold paint.

I made one stupid mistake making the book, and that was not coloring the all the leather parts with leather paint putting it together. Halfway through I realized I wouldn't be able to color the edges without risking to ruing the paper. And that why the book got so raw and bright edges.

I can see you're getting better at it, but I'd love to see you experiment more with color, and be less afraid to use darker shades. (This is something I too have to work on! ) However, great progress already!

While visiting the mountains, I also visited my grandma, that was a bit sick and needed some cheering up. So I drew her favorite fish the Arctic char. I din't have much time, nor my best drawing materials available. About a 1-1 1/2 hours of work, with graphite and some colored pencils that was lying in my backpack. I also had no scanner, so I could just photograph the picture.

I'm pleased with the result for that kind of time frame and materials available. But the most important thing is that it made grandma happy.

Birthday picture for my dad. Mountains in the Abisko region in Sweden, and a small brook.

Exactly two colors have been used, as well as black and white.

Watercolors and masking fluid. A4 size.
