Really cool work. When I look at the pieces, the words that comes to mind is "midday summer;" the images are very hot and overexposed, which creates an interesting mood and graphic feel.

Nope, no headache, but to be honest, I see it in a lot of your stuff, not just the one image. Maybe it's my eyes or something. It's a really intriguing thing, whatever it is. Anyway, you've got a gift for this stuff, I hope the freelance world treats you well.

digitalfly: haha, not sure I'd be a good teacher...

    Tom3D: thanks!

    DANKA: cheers.

    rem92: too kind, thanks!

Jason Manley: thanks for those words Jason, many thanks. I think you pm'd me re Setember, sorry I didn't get back to you, the studio was going through hell at that point, the future's still fairly unclear...

    jeremygordon89: thanks!

Okay, something more traditional I guess, AD's prefer this stuff from feedback I've been given, I need to do a lot more if I want to get work...

Very cool stuff. I really like the colors. Just my opinion, for the African Mech pilot, maybe would have been better following the general scheme of white platings without those camo-pants? Of course you are away better artist, so you don't have to listen to me .

Vay: yeah, I wanted to avoid him looking too power-suited up, I guess under the combats he's got all that stuff on.

mehran: I'm beginning to think being unique is a disadvantage these days.

Unique is tough but man, stick with it. We need new and unique voices so badly. The thing is unique though it is, it's so readable and usable.

    okay,

been fairly busy of late (but of course always ope to discuss future projects!) so here's something from a long long time ago. I did post some of these before, but for legal reasons I had to take them down. Seeing as I no longer work for the studio that no longer exists... well let's see.

Created for a PS2 game, with the music and cameos of Metallica.... unfortunately it was canned. These date from 2003/2004.

A few more to see on my blog, cheers!

You have such a great style. All the lines look so effortless and the weight distribution to your characters is so amazingly displayed. And the colors. Goddamn, you are great at understated colors with just the right bit of vibrancy.

    Good. Stuff.
