I'm gonna upload a couple "new" things, and then I'm going on another break but when I'll be back and this time I'll share more concept - less illustration , because I really wanna improve on that branc, characther design, envrioments, etc

    but for now:

Painted this one, not entirely convinced, I'm trying not to overdo things, but still it was good for testing on that jelly/alien body and some light/color things

Nice update! Just wondering though; how do you feel about your painting/rendering skills? While I have noticed an overall improvement, I've also noticed that you've really hung onto your favourite colours pretty much all the way through; namely the pinks, and many are quite saturated. I'm not sure, but perhaps it could be holding you back there a bit, assuming of course that you wish to render more effectively in a traditional sense. In the same area, you also hang onto the linework; have you ever thought of "transcending" the lines completely, smothering them? Lines are essential in my mind, but lines in a finished piece can result in more of a flat look. I love your lines, but using them purely in the structural sense will still allow them to shine. Perhaps some exercises in monotone focusing on value will help. I can't argue with stylistic choices, but it all depends on what you're trying to achieve, where you'd like to grow. And I do like your style, by the way
