    @nf076 - Thanks!

    @Albino-Z - Ahhhh! My sketchbook has been touched by the Super-Z! Now that is awesome.

    @Lightship69 - Hey Lightship. Yeah, cheers mate, thanks for dropping by yet again. Haha, get me drunk! OK.

    @aks9 - Thanks, and no problem!

    @jNeumann - Sweet, thanks!

    Whew, it's been way too long since I posted. I did a bunch of lame scribbles for Team Challenge, rather than clutter up my SB with that junk you can check them out here.

    So here's some real stuff. Aaand my show announcement! I doubt anyone's anywhere near Maine, but if you are, drop by!

    Your work's so god damn cool man, I should really stop by here more often, it's awesome!

    Do you mind telling me what medium you use for your oils? I really want to try doing some oil paintings but I have no clue where to start or what to get.

    Hey everybody! Thanks for all the comments! I went on vacation for a week and now I'm really busy getting ready for my show. I'm counting the days until September 7th. So here's just one little painting for now, I'll post a real update on September 8th or so.

    @ajtabril - Thanks! Haha, no way a master. Maybe look to Peleng or Albino-Z for that.

    @Hayden_Zammit - Thanks!

    @Mateja - Thanks M! :*

    @JoshDArtist - Thanks a lot!

    @SpaceJelly - Thanks!

    @NickyBeats - Haha, yeah. I can't wait to meet you in real life man, that'll be a first. I don't want you to have false expectations though, I'm some kind of weirdo who doesn't drink. So I'll pass on the beer, but I'm all for doodling dragons!

    @KingKostas - Thanks a lot, you are a legend yourself.

    @Velocity Kendall - Heh, well I'm glad you like it, pal, thanks. No, haven't read any Tim Powers, I'll definitely check it out when I have time though. Thanks!

    @aks9 - He he he thanks.

    @Lightship69 - Hey Lightship! Heh, yeah, geography cuts both ways. I hope it goes well too! Thanks Mate!

    @MacTire - Thanks!

    @warburton - Thanks!

    @witcrack - Heh, no that's not all. There will be about 20 oil paintings in the show, five full-size finished drawings, and some sketches. Thanks!

    @Ludic - Hey Ludic, thanks! I use Liquin for my oil painting medium. I'm sure it's not for everyone (though it does seem pretty darn popular); it dries fast and gives a nice, flowy consistency. It can change your colors a tiny bit, I haven't done the experiments to see how that works, but it's not noticeable unless you're doing some pretty anal color matching. I do use some paint thinner for my umber underpaintings, but it kills the opacity and consistency of your paint, so I don't use it after that. And I mostly use soft, fine-haired synthetic brushes—they're very cheap and don't last terribly long, but I don't take very good care of them anyway, and they're very nice in the beginning.

    That's all for now, gotta get back to work. Feel free to ask any other questions though, not that I really know what I'm doing. You can email me through my website if you prefer.

    Well, hello friends. Alex - Thanks, you rockstar! bill618 - thank you surus - Haha, surus you are obsessed with pencil stuff. Thank you very much.

    Lightship you are a saint, and a real hoot as well! Thank you very much, and thank you Flashback, and KingKostas, you dang master you. It was a complete coincidence that I was going through my bookmarks and checked this today. I was surprised and delighted to find these messages waiting for me. The truth is, I was, and am a bit ticked off about the Great CA Crash of 2012. Dang and bloody bad form to cut it off with only a few hours notice and right as Team Challenge came due. And even now it's not all back. The whole business is ridiculous. I've migrated to CGHub somewhat and Facebook slightly, but mostly just withdrawn. And I'm very, very hesitant to come back. I miss my friends here, you guys are great(!!!), but I don't want to support such a poorly run website.

    If anyone would like to chat on Skype, I'm just "rossgrams" from Vienna, ME, United States. Or you can always email me through my website. I'd love to hear from anyone I know on here.

    Lightship, actually yes, haha! I deposited the largest check of my life a couple weeks ago. The show was quite successful. I sold about half of the stuff in it, most in the first 24 hours. I'm trying to focus now on updating my portfolio with some decent new sci-fi/fantasy stuff. Oh, and I am almost done building onto my studio, doubling it in size.

    Cheers everybody!
