    Epicraft's Sketchbook

I'm still fairly new to digital art so I could use all the criticism I can get. I find that I have loads of ideas but am limited by my current skills, so I really need to improve as much as I can. Any help, that anyone gives will be greatly appreciated.

Here is my first piece it was a submission for an online challenge on Imaginefx.com. The brief was to make a Scottish pirate named Redbeard, the only requirement being that he had a beard and a kilt with sporrin. I was unfortunately pressed for time so he came out a bit unpolished.

This was also done for an online challenge on Imaginefx.com. Basically we had to create a character for a Street Fighter game and show it doing a signature move. I came up with this ancient statue possesed by the spirit of an ancient king.

This was done for the CA.org C.O.W. Bull Ringtail challenge where I had to make a creature that incorporated a ring in it's tail. This was up to interpretation so I decided to do it literaly. Also, the creature had to be a Bull of it's species, meaning alpha male.

This is one of my favourites so far. This is for the C.O.W. Critter Spitter challenge. You had to make a creature for an action game that had some way to biologically fire projectiles at the player. The brief also required it to be stationary and there had to be three other variations of it as well. It was after I posted it, that I noticed the posted image was slighlty out of focus when compared to the original. I realised that the same is true for all my other posted images. I have tried to figure out how to fix this but have been unsuccessful. If anyone has any idea how to post them with good clarity, please let me know.
