    Wow guys..

Care - Thank you ! I must say, I'm not really comfortable with shading, but thats something I will work on next (school)year.
I'm gonna take art classes, specific on life drawing. I've taken a look at the reilly method you mentioned, and its pretty interesting. I didn't know that technique had a specific name (:
I'm glad you like the architectural studies and the watercolors!
And yeah I was told before that I should use more soft edges in my shading.
For the perspective, you might be right. Sometimes I'm pretty lazy and don't pay much attention to the correct perspective grid..
Thanks again for the feedback, It's much appreciated!

Pete Hidalgo - Hey man , thanks!! You're completely right with the waterfall pic. I didn't really think about it :p
The scale is waayyy off but yeah I used a ref pic for the whole background (the trees) and didn't change anything yet. I was actually gonna finish the pic but didn't come to it.. There are many bad things about that one. And when I look back at it, it looks pretty awful :p
And..thank you for taking the time writing down the whole thing!!

    -
Now something different.. I did a pencil (+ white conté) and watercolor study of a piece by Zdzisław Beksiński, I don't know it's name, but here's a pic ->(Link)
I'm really stunned by overall 'feeling' of his work. really inspiring!

Do you do those sketches from photos? If so, from what database? I'm always looking for new places to do studies when I can't do live drawing at school.
    They're looking really good

Your paintings are nice! Your gesture drawing has improved quite a bit from the beginning of the thread, too. I noticed it's a lot of contour drawings though. Working out the inner structure of the skeleton is something I'd love to see.

Hey, nice sb! You're doing big progress on the body gestures, they are getting so much better than in the first pages.
I really like the water colors. The building constructions are great! And this last car in just 30 min is very good. Keep it up!

I really like the fast skeches and studies you do. I still skip these too much but they are really helpful. Thank you for posting the
links to your resources and tutorials too. Much appreciated.

PMbbwolf thanks, I started with a regular photograph and just began sketching these thumbs, picking the colors off the pic.
I've found this technique pretty good to quickly generate ideas
