Wow guys..
Care - Thank you ! I must say, I'm not really comfortable with shading, but thats something I will work on next (school)year.
I'm gonna take art classes, specific on life drawing. I've taken a look at the reilly method you mentioned, and its pretty interesting. I didn't know that technique had a specific name (:
I'm glad you like the architectural studies and the watercolors!
And yeah I was told before that I should use more soft edges in my shading.
For the perspective, you might be right. Sometimes I'm pretty lazy and don't pay much attention to the correct perspective grid..
Thanks again for the feedback, It's much appreciated!
Pete Hidalgo - Hey man , thanks!! You're completely right with the waterfall pic. I didn't really think about it :p
The scale is waayyy off but yeah I used a ref pic for the whole background (the trees) and didn't change anything yet. I was actually gonna finish the pic but didn't come to it.. There are many bad things about that one. And when I look back at it, it looks pretty awful :p
And..thank you for taking the time writing down the whole thing!!

Now something different.. I did a pencil (+ white conté) and watercolor study of a piece by Zdzisław Beksiński, I don't know it's name, but here's a pic ->(Link)
I'm really stunned by overall 'feeling' of his work. really inspiring!
edit: WUT page 5 already?
