Nice updates man, liking those cars a few posts up... something i notice, i don't know if you share the same opinion ( i don't usually give critique, i just like to compliment and keep it simple ) but it seems you like to use a lot of textures in your portraits (the first portrait in this page) but you really don't give texture to your environments (#215) i can see little brushes with texture on it but they really don't stand out, giving the whole picture little ''realism'' if we might call it that way... anyways, nice updates man, keep posting
very nice progress m8 from page 1 to 8 youve improved a lot![]()
dimi thanks!
Gpozzo Thanks for the c&c! You're completely right. When I do a study I try different methods, not really knowing what the results will be.
Sometimes I think too much textures will make it all messy and non-coherent. But as you said, it would've been better with more texture in it.

Another study
I'm not really happy with the result. These kind of studies always take a lot of time, just to look disproportionate and muddy :/
If anyone has tips or tricks on how to do shaded figures, please do tell me!

That frog study is neat, I'm really liking the enviro thumbs, keep it up
dannng, are those environment thumbs from imagination?? if they are I'm impressed. If they aren't I'm still impressed. Love how you maintain the shapes while incorporating atmospheric perspective. everything reads quite well.
