Ok, dont get excited... im working on a better way to scan in my work and technically there isnt any nudity YET...

but I need to start somewhere.

so uhm the list is basically:

Reinventing a sargent, so i made lady agnew into a jawless zombie.
Acrylic... 16x20 canvas board

Sumi life drawing
16x20 cartridge paper

the rest are a bunch of sketches from life... people, life drawing classes and one drawing of some flowers and a captain morgan bottle that was done AFTER i emptied the bottle...

Great portraits, I especially like the profile of the girl at the end. I think you're 'trying too hard' with the eyes. In most of these they look kind of dead or stylized. I think they look most lifelike in the "Ryan playing Tron" sketch.

I love your Sargent piece though. It was worth a little giggle. c: Awesome work.

Looking good
You certainly can paint and have an understanding of the head.
The eyes aren't pushed into the head enough for the bottom side views. Also remember that below the eye lid a shadow is casted. Any small areas or single lines that jump abruptly in tone can be lightened (though not photo-realistic) to make the whole drawing's composition look more together. Like Ryan's mouth
For the still life, try to get defined shadow shapes before adding the tone to push the realism of the study.
Again thinking compositionally, the head of the striped lady is too light for the rest of the overall picture and this removes focus from it wonderful rendition.
Add some red to the cheeks, nose, and extremities in the painting to give off that organic fleshy look to the zombie. Putting a sharp white hi-lights to the blood will make it look like bodily fluid. Warning blood

Thanks for your kind words. I love critique and found at school everyone was too shy to say anything negative, even the teachers.

I agree I have to work on my hard lines, As you can probably tell I honed my comic style before realism, thus it shows up in my "life" drawing. Its become almost a style of mine, most of my life drawing looks a little comic booky (is that a word?)

The different tones in the sumi painting was basically for speed, as the shirt was the main focus and the pose was only alotted 10 minutes. I love sumi ink and plan to work with it a little more as we only really did one or two sessions with it over the course of the year, very disapointing...

Great stuff! I like the picture with the woman wearing the striped shirt. As for critique, I agree with AnthonyV about the hard outlines. They make the head drawings look sort of cut out if that makes any sense.

Wow your flowers are brilliant! I like how you can see all the different levels of the flowers although it's very light. You could probably bring out some of the darker tones a bit.

You certainly have a good feel for hair and how it flows.

Yay glad to see you got a sketchbook!

I love your sargent piece, I laughed out loud for real.
My only suggestion right now is to block out the planes/structure of the face before rendering
